Hokkaido Holiday highlights 2- Road trip

For 2nd part of the holiday...we had chose to self drive to cut cost..

On the night before we picked the car..we saw Japan central is hit by snow storm...and we woke up to a very snowy Otaru morning..


We had driven for 2 days so far..and went thru snow storm, blue sky and finally Narnia like highway..

A day where the boy had lots of fun..so much fun that he agreed to take pics with Kaylen..he had problem with the cold, food, and activities in Hokkaido.  Absolutely hate onsen, and the "pyjama" at onsen, skiing, smell at fish markets, sulfure smell at Hell Valley..He rated this is the worst holiday ever....But everyone else enjoyed to the max..



First time seeing frozen lake..covered with snow..







At this moment, we had completed our road trip..we covered almost everything I planned including Furano. The daddies had gained so much experience driving with heavy and snow storm..now we were confident of winter self driving. Thank God for the good weather (short snow storm around half hour only)

He is happy enough of being awarded eesis...and going to RI with major of school fees covered.

Happy 40 to me

It's my big day...40 is quite a significant number.. 

I am so glad we were able to celebrate the day together with my grandma in jb.


And thanks to daddy's pressies of a tag heur watch..n kaylen's heat tech extra warm...while Jared is the non romantic one..he said his best birthday pressie for me is his 2.4k scholarship
