Kaylen's Abacus Exam Result-Her 1st and 2nd 100%

So she got full marks for her 1st 2 exam in her life!

She can earn $20 from waipo..also her 1st earned $...since she has watch koko earning lots of $ from good results from exams..heh.

Yesterday when we just got back from JB, the silly gal and me had this conversation

Kaylen: Mummy did you bring back my abacus book?
Me: No, why?
Kaylen: Harr...still have a lot of pages haven't finish..
Me: its ok its late now, you can do it tomorrow
Kaylen: But tomorrow got lesson, I scared I cannot finish...How about we use calculator?

Then I burst into laughter...and told her that she probaly count faster than she press the calculator!

Jared never had this automatic when come to abacus..he is fine with just doing 30/40 sums out of the 400 sums..and submit to teacher..

So when he got the mental sums cert this year..its really quite a surprise..last year he didn't get it.

Now I told Kaylen to work hard, so that she can bring back the cert every year!

Troubles troubles

Recently we had some major problems at home..

       1)      Grandma was done with major stroke and though survive through, but the recovery road is very tough..

       2)      Jared encounter some bullies in school

1^st session: Despite me worked so hard to get him into Elite school..this thing is still not preventable.

During his Maths trail with P5 & P6 kids, a friend told him that the P5 big boy scold him “walk faster lah, you idiot” He did not hear it, but his friend Joseph told him about it. So he came home to tell his dad. And daddy wrote an email to sch teacher to investigate. So the next school day, Jared and friend were call up to be investigated..and finally after investigation it was his friend Joseph made up the words.. OMG, can kids be so notti??

2^nd session: Jared’s friend Lucas kept threatning him to visit the Ghost farm in school. They have made up stories on how does the ghost look like and once Chuang lao shi heard them, has punished them to stand at one side. After that Jared do not dare to go there anymore. But the friend Lucas, still force him, tuggling his arms..and threatening him that he is gonna call his parents that he has annoyed him, so that I will scold him. After hearing that I’m not going to scold him, he got a big relieve and started crying…I thanked and gave him a big hug for telling things like this in school.

We have wrote to Chuang lao shi about it.
