We are in finals!

After the contest, all of us felt good...and almost quite sure we were get into finals...but it was a long wait for the call...hehe..

At 7.25pm finally my mobile rang...sianz...It was my boss, asking me to take note of things throughout weekend....Then 5mins later the phone rang again!...Now it's the contest staff call me...


I got really happy! Jumping around..calling daddy and my sis to inform them the good news..

Then after we busy letting Kaylen try her final contest dress...hehee...

The Baby Idol contest..Semifinal

Daddy has to work, so we took a cab to expo..It was so messy day, I went to pick up Jared from school and he got dissapointed when he see it's no waipo, so keep crying..I had to force carry him home. hehe...then refuse to take lunch, and insist of take milk only..

That's when I realised it's already 11.30am, Kaylen's hair still all standing up..messy messy, quickly wet them again and comb properly..But we still arrived early around 12.15pm ...The contest is at 1.30pm, gathering behind the stage at 1pm.

Kaylen is still so cute ah, even her hanky hide her face a little. As for Jared it's so hard to take proper pics of him nowadays..keep giving faces..

Kaylen didn't have enough sleep, almost when contest starts, she couldn't even hold herself straight keep leaning on me...make me so worried..Then mum suggested i hold her facing front, let her head rest on me..

Then when we were queing behind stage waiting for our turn to go up on stage, she started crying a little..wah...more kam cheong now...hehe..

Luckily when up on stage she's fine..there's even ppl cheering for her..

After the contest, she all energised..not feeling tired liao..

Chubby Enuff???

Daddy thk she won't be able to proceed to finals! Cos she is not chubby at all! But I thk she is looking much prettier these days, with the little cheek tat's not the chubbiest...yet just nice size..and with her hair longer.. hehehe...

The weekend Ritz Calton Hotel stay...

Phew~~..lucky the stay wasn't too bad..But it was not an easy one with a baby tagging along...So much packing, so much crying, so much luggage...till daddy and me were quarreling ..and angry with ourselves to get the hotel stay..So much hassle for just 1 day stay..

Everything changes the moment we step into the room, ...The view just soooo impressive...the room is so big and nice! The bath tub and its view..and can only say..Wowow...

We took the double room with 2 super single bed, each sleep with each kid...

Nice sofa with view of Nicoll Highway...and slight view of Singapore flyer

Jared in room feeling hungry..and had to eat poky..before wait for my mum to send dinner..while daddy and me indulge at Greenhouse..hehe...

Swimming at the hotel pool...Kaylen's first dip!..She didn't like it, keep crying as she was already sleepy..so we take turn to carry her sleeping..Jared had so much fun swimming though!

Jared dip in the bath tub while Kaylen used their sink to bath..It's even big enuff to fit Kaylen!

5 mth 2 wk 22 Feb 09:K started solid!

forgot to take pic, we gave him on the bed with daddy holding her..after we got back from Ritz stay..I made the rice cereal too dry..she didnt like it..and see spoon cry! heee

She's in!

I'm soooo nervous now!!

She's in the semifinal of chubbiest cheek baby contest by mediacorp!

Oh yes!!!!.

Hehehe...

The story goes like this, I saw the contest form from i weekly magazine for continous few weeks..Was keep fan-ing that Kaylen don't have a studio pic to submit...and finally I still show my mum the contest form...on the day I took AM leave to bring Jared to his new school for enrollment...

But when we were back from school, I got so tired and need to rush back to work...I told my mum i lazy to submit when she reminded me again..Told her to forget about it.
When I'm back from work, mum told me my sis had help to send. (My sis is absolutely supportive for all kind of lucky draw ever since she won a pair of brilliant rose wedding band worth 5k from mag contest!, That's explain why she is so on to help..hehe)

After submission..deep in my heart ..I was still hoping Kaylen have chance..hehe..

And finally while I was in meeting...I RECEIVED that call!!!...

*Now I'm fan-ing what can I wear to go to the contest!..Note: not Kaylen it's ME!!..So fat, pai seh lerrrrr...*

p/s I wouldn't thought of any contest for the kids ever since Jared's healthy baby contest at Whampoa CC...It was such bad experience, cos it's so hot, so many ppl and wait too long...and finally he fell asleep before seeing judges..It's enough of embarassment....

But this round during CNY, Irene's hb Chris asked me when I'm gonna bring her for contest..said she is sooo cute, so pretty..That's how the encouragement comes..Hah!

I found these infor from google ..It mentioned only first 3 prize, hopefully they will give at least 1 tin of similac to semi finalist who made it that day! hehe

Another Milestone met- Flipping @ 5 mth 9 days 15 Feb09

Happy Birthday to Waigong!

We celebrated my dad's birthday earlier this year on V-day at Paramount restaurant @ Paramount hotel..

Kaylen is 5mth old!

- She LOVEs me..!!!
Hehe, especially night time, she would cry and cry just for me to carry..Just before CNY, when gong gong and mah mah came over our place, we left her at home while we brought Jared to have breakfast at Sun Plaza. They had to call us to come back immediately cos Kaylen cried non stop..Once I took over her she would be good..hehe..But the "love" is getting lesser and lesser everyday with me coming back late from work..

-Still Breastfeeding..and another 7month to go!
She still drinking ~3oz to 3.5oz 3hourly, very little, and I thk she has stop keep on growing fat..she probaly maintained the same weight as last mth...

-Physical achievement
Not very good, still have no intention to flip yet...but can turn side way when angry..hehe...Can hold bottle when really hungry.. Put everything she grabs, into the mouth (Jared wasn't like tat)

-Relationship with korkor
As far as Jared still loves to bully her, yet her love for korkor never reduce....She enjoyed looking at korkor and will calm down when see korkor.

-Her hair
No sign of dropping

-Sleeping
Still sleep through, and becoming easier to handle at night...at most 11pm she would knock off...She could stay awake from 3pm to 11pm..steady loh..Jared last time awake 1hr sleep next hour...don't have much energy
