Couple times: Wild Honey @Scott Square

After the prefect investiture, we got a lot of time for breakfast..Decided to try out the highly raved wild honey..We didn't like the standard english breakfast like sausage, beans, ommelette..We are so glad to realise Wild Honey's breakfast  is different, although very much expensive. Breakfast and coffee set x2 cost $65.  But its definitely a place to go when you feel like indulge.  The breakfast is better than Chye Seng Huat/ Food for thought..but coffee was quite bad.

Machiatto and coppucino.. Everytime I'm served small cup of coffee I want to faint, it certainly meant we ordered the wrong thing! This machiatto is bitter to sour, cant drink at all...wasted $  Their coppucino is also a bit sourish..

Jared's Prefect Investiture 2015

It's kind of grand event in the primary school.  Jared had to stay back for 4 weekdays to get training and rehearse for it.  Parents are invited, and are supposed to help wear his prefect tie for the first time in front of the hall.  During my times, I don't remember any celebs for that.

The blue ties are the p5 prefect council.  When I asked Jared does he want to aim for Head prefect next year? He said he don't want to rise in ranks..boy without goal..


He must have been one of the smallest P4 prefects.Standing beside him, Zhen Kang, must be the biggest new P4 prefects.










We accidently got the discipline master Mr Yogi to help us take the family pic, only after the pic we knew that he was the discipline master..


We were too engrosed with taking family pic and then forgot all about his solo...Only got this..aiyo..

Stay home mummy for 1 day

This must be the 1st day in my mummy life that I had to stay home for both kids at their primary years.  It was bz bz cooking, baking, and feeding them.  Managed to have a nap in between..I baked bagels and the fail scone...the scone happened to be the best tasted scone I ever made!!

Jared got home at 5.15pm looking totally exhausted..I finally felt that I was really bad to push him to finish all homework before I got home, and everynight still push him for all other homework, violin practise etc..





2 cup  self raising flour + 1/2cup
5 tablespoon sugar
pinch of salt
3/4 cup currant
1/2 buttermilk (made with 1/2milk + 1 tablespoon of vinegar)
114g butter
1 egg

MixFlour with cube cold butter
Add sugar to flour, add salt
Add currant
Add buttermilk
Bake at 220C for 12-15min

This is the best season to have picnic with the NDP training every Sat...kids followed ah yi to barage..

Couple night out-Pasar Bella @Grandstand

Lovely experience...I like the taco so much at $20, the seafood palla $13.90 so so. Pie was quite bad...
But the promogranate cake $12 was so nice, very little cake taste..a lot promogranate, Jared loves it.  We had to tabau cos too full.

Term 3 update

Starting the term, she has officially step down her monitor role and passed it to Larissa.  She's now promoted to senior monitor and help the monitor to take care of the class.  But she don't get to do hall monitor cos teacher wanted kids who walk to school instead.

She has got back her primary ballet result 79/100, a distinction..and next weekend she will be doing her grade 4 mental arithmetic exam..that is after stopping the class ofr coming to 9months.

He was insisted by Mr Tan to continue to become the math rep...and he had also just been chosen to become prefects although he very much resisted it, but I figure he will need some leadership skill to build up his portfolio. He is worry of how he can't be the full fledge math rep and cope with prefect role, also the recess timing if he had to do recess duty.  I insist because, both daddy and me were prefects when we were schooling!..it is certainly a good experience..

He has so far collected 2 trophy from CHS on the subject sports and arts which he most weak in...
He didn't even get to touch the ball when playing floorball, and amazingly he won a trophy for that!  And as for the egg shell art competition, he actually lost his original copy..while I had to help him complete the art, without knowing it was meant for competition..!!! He just somehow happen to come back with the trophy..But he did spend a lot of effort to decorate the egg shells.

He also got chosen to attend the sports hub opening ceremony..

Seemed this school is doing well with him..he just boom all the sudden..hah..unlike when back in PCPS, he was a nobody..

That's the 2 trophy he collected within 7mth in CHS...
