Early Reunion 2014

Queue was pretty long..ah yi was there half an hour earlier to queue for a seat for all of us.




The kids...Jared with his favourite osmanthus jelly dessert, while Kaylen with her favourite baked char siew bun.

In general most of the dim sum we ordered tasted quite nice, except the carrot cake. And it was so hot that it scalded us. The lunch cost $127...pretty good price.



After got back, I started working on the pineapple tarts and yielded 3 and half tub after few hours of work. Glad that the kids can help out now..but they do not have much patience, so when its on the 3rd batch..all left me alone!


Jared was working on his art school homework..Nice piece of work..

Kaylen's Toilet washing Experience

Since last week, Kaylen started to help with the toilet bowl washing..and she claimed that it will be her duty from now onwards...and to my surprise when I checked the toilet, it was sparkling clean as she spent a lot of time washing it...

This week she did it again...

And in the evening when she had to pee...she tried to endure it..

Daddy: I thought you want to pee?
Kaylen: but I don't want to dirty my toilet

This is really an extra return..at such young age she learnt that we need to treasure what we work hard..hah.

as for koko..he poo on it..and happily exclaimed: Yeh, I dirtied the toilet!

2014: The start of new school year

This year Jared would be in P3, while Kaylen in K2

New challenge for Jared is to study in morning shift, and bus pick up at 6.25am





For Kaylen school hour is now 4hr, instead of previously 3hr

The ever busy port..we had to carry luggage cut accross other boat and together with the kids...and so happened that Jared had sea sick...luckily Koon came to carry him up first. Then when we found him, he was all pale

Home trip 19-30 Dec (Sarikei Part 1)

It has been 2 years since the last we had hometrip to Sarikei..This year must be the longest ever we went home..12 days..Short summary of how we spent the days

19-Dec     : Arrived at Sibu, Evening Sarikei
20-21 Dec: Sarikei
22-23 Dec: Sibu for pickup Kiwi&gf, dong zhi gathering and Photoshoot
24-26 Dec: Sarikei again with Kiwi&gf
27 Dec    :  Sibu
28 Dec    :  Kapit
29 Dec    :  Back to Sibu, tidy up house, shift beds
30 Dec    :  Back to JB

There wasn't much things to do and we actually survived 6 days without wifi straight! till xmas day where we went to Sugarbun for supper, then we had proper wifi for the first time..

Then at our last days we found a coffeeshop Cafe21 which provide free wifi.

The kids would had their oat at home first thing when woke up, and then 2nd breakfast with us for noodles ..then most times were spent on building Legos, and occasionally violin practise, and math paper practise.
