Bad Cake Experience




The cake was ordered from icing room, after deliberating between polar hello kitty or princess..

To my horror, when I arrived at icing room J8, all the colors from the words had already run..and I complained to them..they tried to add bear bear underneath the words..I still find it unaceptable..I bargained with them, you cannot let such ugly cake to leave your bakery..So the chef offered to redo it..and got me to give them 2hrs time.We had dinner there, and they completed it within 1.5hr.

 

We got home at abt 9pm+...to a very anxious Kaylen asking how was her cake? and wanted to see immediately..When we opened up ..she said its very nice...and comforted me that dun be sad ok..she will ask chef dun anyhow do next time..and very cooperative to get change comb her hair..we started taking some pics..

Ok...not a bad result for ma3. But that's not the key thing.. I found a short writing at the back of his paper..to his teacher Mr Kok. Quite interestingly written...very frank..hah

Back to Food for thought

A wonderful brunch at Food for Thought.

After breakfast we got the kids to walk around the garden, am so surprise Jared is finally not ever complaining of the sun..and enjoyed the excursion, and lead daddy and Kaylen to explore the area.

Gong gong's birthday 2012

Siam Kitchen don't allow our breaktalk cake to place in their fridge..as they are halal restaurant. So we decided to cut our cake at home in case we embarassed ourselves again if they don't give us utensils..and hey, thats much a better decision...our perfect grey background made all the pics look so nice , with the dining light, the faces look so vibrant...

This simpley grey wall looks so much better than our Sembawang brown white wall we so ugly heheh

TRBK update

A little worry about Kaylen's kindy...almost all teacher were changed from Jared's time. And of these few yrs we were there, the principal was change 3x already.

Recently I had feeling they are trying to upgrade the school to a more atas one.

Now it cost $60 to attend the sch concert with hi tea, used to be $30

Just lately there was a parent with child field trip to chinatown, garden by the bay and Kampong Glam, $40 for 1 parent, $35 for 1 child..which is way too ex.
So I decided not to let Kaylen join the trip and told her abt the decision.

Who knows? the next day of school, Kaylen went to tell 3 of her teacher including the principal Mrs Keow. hehe..

Kaylen: My mummy say I cannot go chinatown becos  its too far for me.
Teacher replied..its ok, your daddy mummy can bring you somewhere else.

She is such a KPO gal hah
