A very rare Evening outing

We hardly go for shopping this year, when most time were focus for their enrichment classes or nature outings which the kids prefered most.

Since its just after exam, I thought why not we visit the newer malls or malls just got renovated like Suntec becos of the HnM..

We had a great time, Jared get less boredom as he get to heel in the malls..and they get to play with the water fountain.

We even had some time to sit down and relax and enjoy our cakes n coffee..Its truly a memorable outing.

Movie date & the 3rd dropped tooth

Since daddy did not get his off in lieu for Deepavali, so I made a movie date with Mary at Plaza sing together with the kids... Kids was in generally glad that they are finally watching meatball2..

We met at Yoshinoya for brunch...

While eating, Jared suddenly asked me is his teeth drop? After I examined it carefully, I realised it has really drop...and there goes me frantically looking for the tooth. And Mary saw it on the table looking like  a rice grain..heheh...

That tooth was push out by the big tooth that came out recently. So in 2 weeks, he had drop 2 tooth...

That's how he look like at 1 wk to 8 yr old

Suzuki Bk 3 Song 3 Gavotte in G minor

Daddy's comment: Rush through, no rest, no minims
Teacher's comment: Play note, no music
Mummy's comment: Very good

Hehe

Lightly row_by both kids

Jared taught Kaylen to play the song..

her teacher still insist on Violin star..so most likely cannot start on Suzuki bk 1 soon

Kaylen played half way and got a big slip..and always end up crying big time

The invitation worth waiting for...

It's the party I've been looking forward to...

YES! Its another rewarding year! Even though most likely he would be no. 3 ...but at least he made it..with all the hardworks, scolding...and effort that we've put in..

When daddy and mummy not in town...

Regular swim class last min cancelled, and daddy & mummy not in town..
So kids followed ah yi to have fun at TPY Safra

A wonder Deepavali morning

It's very nan de we can have family gathering since grandma staying at Jb nursing home..we all take turn to visit her..and its also very nan de for TLL to take a break ...this must be the only day we get off in this whole year from TLL..

Kaylen's Violin after 4mth

She is almost completing violin star book 1..playing at the speed of CD..very little sound distortion..I think she is doing really well!..

Feeling guilty that we are not sending her to Mandeville..rather a sch at Whampoa Market...

Suzuki: Twinkle star

Violin star: hampton court

Violin star: Autumn

Update 7-Nov after her regular lesson on 6-Nov

This is what happen in the violin class, after a wk of practice with mummy

Teacher: You never practice with her ah this week?

Daddy: yes, not as much

Teacher: if mummy don’t know, don’t practice. Pick up all the bad habits, next time very difficult to change

*referring to her slanted bow and also did not follow music tempo*

This is so funny, in mummy’s ears she practicing and played well. I thought I can share daddy’s job since I only need to play the CD, and she follow the CD to play..that’s such a significant impact..hehe..

The P2 Exam Ordeal is finally over

Not very good..especially chinese..even though I've put in additional efforts on it...
But I'm really happy with English compo, have not seen the work yet.
So from now onwards the focus will have to be on Chinese compo..

Brazillian Bread

Our favourite tea break for weekends..sometimes I would  make it alternate week..its so easy, and simple ingredients that it can be whipped up in 5-10mins..Its chewy and empty inside..

Recipe from Little Teochew

Recipe

- 1 egg (at room temperature)
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2/3 cup milk
- Scant 1 1/2 cups (170 grams) tapioca flour
- 1/2 cup (packed, about 66 grams) grated cheese
- 1 teaspoon of salt

1 Preheat oven to 200°C. Grease a mini-muffin tin. Put all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth. You may need to use a spatula to scrape down the sides of the blender so that everything gets blended well. At this point you can store the batter in the refrigerator for up to a week.

2 Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until all puffy and just lightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool on a rack for a few minutes. Eat while warm or save to reheat later (I don't recommend the latter).

The batter is enough for 16 mini muffin sized cheese breads.

Finally the 2nd front tooth dropped

This is the 2nd tooth Jared dropped..much slower than most kids...at 1mth to 8yrs..He only dropped 2 tooth. And the last 1 was a yr ago..It had so much decay on it..and just refused to come out..This tooth become so wobbly only because he hit on something..and he asked to be pulled out..So daddy gave him some help!

The other tooth after empy for 1 whole year... growing at a rapid speed now!

Tooth no.2 pull out on 26 Oct 2013..
