I'm sooo proud of him...I did not expect he just need such a short time to be able to get a hang of it riding in 2 wheels..cos he very scared of falling..I didn't expect he dare to do it (since he won't even sit on a swing)..

Chicken pox Daily

First notice at noticed on 13Mar when I woke up to full face pimples..which frighten me. The whole day I was covering col's presentation material, with some fever. Only  by the evening I noticed that it has spread to all over body, and tummy area. I started to suspect it was chicken pox. Visited the doctor that evening, and given 7 days MC.

The next day woke up with no fluid in rashes yet, I got panic if this is chicken pox...Only by late morning I observed some started to have fluid inside.

Day 3, 15Mar is the worst day..all those on face have yellow fluid in them..very ugly, just like full of pimples with nong2..hehe

Today 19-Mar, face look much clearer..and its the last day of MC. I would love to take another 2 day off..but work wise..I wasn't allowed anymore delay. haiz...

Jared's 1st official Exam- Mental Arithmetic Grade 9

The mental arith grade start from 14-1, being 14 is the easiest, 1 is degree

He's currently working on level 7 sums, but teacher recommended him to try take exam for grade 9. He had 2 session of mock test in school..and always ended the fastest to pass on paper and get all correct.

Teacher promised if he get 100% this time will give him present..heh

Anyway, abacus has been dreadly for him as he had to be forced to work on the sum and nowadays we timed him too. Record is 3min for 10 question at level 7. Best is 2 min. But on bad times he can do 10 wrong 5...hehehe.

As I'm on chicken pox, daddy brought him to TeckGhee CC at AMK for the exam. Its a 10min exam only. We spent few weeks trying to explain to him what's an exam, what he's supposed to do or not do in exam, for eg, read out his formula aloud while counting is not allowed in exam..He was told not to use eraser, if wrong just cancel off and write at next row.

Hong Kong Royal Plaza Hotel 13-15 Mar & 16 Mar 2011

Hotel is located at MongKok attached to Mongkok Est MTR. But to walk to Mongkok MTR need to take about 7mins(recommended) but for us I think take more than 10mins..with the 2 notti kids. Its attached to Grand Century plaza, with cinema, foodcourt, MacD, so eating is very convenient. While on the way to Mongkok MTR will also pass by the Sai yeong choi market.

The room..quite squeezy cos they were 6 of us for the 2 queen size bed..heh..that last 2 nite we slept horizontal..Not as comfortable..but too ex to get two room..

 Parents room was upgraded to deluxe suite, with a small living room, I felt nice to give them good impression, cos they are revisiting their honeymoon place after 30 odd years..

Paid about $120 per room per night from agoda. Overall the hotel room is nice, but location wise not at city center. Not much eating area around. Good thing is its near Sands Hotel, so can actually take the free shuttle bus to the Venetian

Kaylen's 2nd ballet lesson

 

Love the way she looked in the ballet attire..

She got into class and started crying..and drived me mad..so the staff offered to help and let me go out..By the time I got back 10mins later, she has calmed down..and when teacher asked her if she wanna join..she nod the head..And totally enjoyed the whole lesson!

I thought she might have problem understanding the instruction..but she was following really well...I saw her spin, lie on floor to pretend sleeping, circle time..etc etc..And she came out of classroom with a big smile..

I'm so so so glad...she like the lesson..but i think the crying will take a while to stop..just like her daily school..she got to try first 5min for 1 mth...haiz

Kaylen's 1st ballet lesson

Enrolled her immediately when she turned 2.5yr at Ballet & Music comp. at a level above Jared's mandeville lesson, when I found out that they have lesson time exact same as Jared's...which is really perfect..Both can attend lesson at the same time

Then the next week I brought her to the trial lesson..she clinged to me so hard and can't participate at all..But I still went ahead and paid for the school fees..heh, but delayed the start of lesson till Apr after we came back from HK.

Last week when I brought her to buy her attire..she refused the staff to touch her..

Luckily this week it's so much better..She was willing to attend lesson, tell me she would not cry..and only started getting nervous just before lesson starts...And when inside the class she was quite scared..together with the other 2 new kid (one of them 4yr, and another same age)..all 3 of them didnt participate at all.

I managed to find a chance to sneak out from class room..to find her standing still by the side..tears rolling in eyes..refused to participate...

But but, by the time Daddy & Jared came to check her at 11am+...She was already participating in the activities!...She was holding the scarf trying to clean the window like cinderella, and did a bit of circle time...I was so so glad..at least daddy won't scold me for wasting $ hah..

I was kind of regret sending her here..cos she might be too young for lesson without parents..and should hv gone mandeville music lesson instead? But I knew she would love doing all the stuff in the ballet lesson...

We are faced with some critical condition after their lesson ended. Me and Kaylen wanted Texas Chicken Jared said he’s not going to eat anything if we decided to lunch at Texas. He wanted to go You and Mee to redeem his free drink! Kaylen refused noodle and wanted fries only

Guess what we did? Me and Kaylen have our lunch at Texas. Daddy & Jared at UandMe.

I ordered 2 piece meal with ice milo& fries..She told me the drink had to be ice milo. She was really hungry and told daddy “I’m hungry, I want to eat things” when we were at Toy r us after lesson. She ate that 2 piece chicken, left skin and bones for me..and half pack of fries! This is so abnormal..cos she’s such a small eater..She could just eat some fries and ice milo and be full..yet tat day she finished the whole 2 piece chicken. As for Jared, he and daddy had a bowl of noodle each at U and mee…I’m left with some big chunk of vege when they finished. Faint.

Art lesson He is attending art lesson at Blk 74 since after CNY..he enjoyed it a lot and everytime can't wait to attend the lesson. Some of his work.
