TRBK Concert 2013 Full Dress Rehearsal Part 1

I'm struggling with whether to go or not go to attend the school concert..partly we didn't like the costume, and she's not the MC this year..but finally we all went including daddy...

And guess what, I'm glad we went...She was somehow lucky to be at the center of the stage throughout...but she don't remember her dance step!...and very unsure of what to do all the time..kinda messy performance..


At the music hall, despite the mad morning rush..we managed to comb her hair so nicely that the teachers cannot stop complimenting how good she look for majie..heh..

Weekend Cooking: Salmon Teriyaki, Bake Potato and Cheese & Ham Biscuit

Salmon Teriyaki: add generous teriyaki sauce on salmon and bake ~40min

Bake potato: boil the potato with salt for about 15mins, put on aluminium foil , add salt, pepper, thyme & rosemary leaves, bake together with the salmon.




Modified from red lobsters biscuit recipe
2 cups pancake mix
2/3 cup milk
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
pinch of salt
onion
2 slice of ham, cut


Directions:
Combine the ingredients, bake in preheated oven 180C for ~18-20min till brown

Reading: Jared's 1st Enid Blyton Book

I had been trying so hard to get Jared to read Enid Blyton's book since I heard that its really good..(i'm not a reader, so I never read her book).. Since he almost completed most of Roald Dalh, Switch Series by Ali Sparks, Magic Schoolbus,  Zack Series, Ellie Belly, and some of How to your dragon series...I'm running out of books to get him to read!

So some day I managed to sneak this Far away tree into his bag, so he had no choice to read it during silent reading in school..and he got hook!...



But when come to Chinese story books..we are doing so badly... :(

As for Kaylen, she can read very well..but at her age she cannot understand fully what the book means..so that is also a big problem!

Recently I just found out that to get into Learning Point P1 head start program for K2 kid will need to be able to read P&J Level 10 and be asked a few question from the book...This is way much higher standard than TLL...gosh...despite I do not really want to start tuition so early for her..but I really wanna save $ by going to LP which charge lower yet high quality...so end up I'm considering to start her at K2..compared to Jared who started TLL at P1 Apr.

I seriously doubt she can pass LP 's interview..haiz.

N I also just realised why the pretty hair clips have gone missing from tv console drawer..its also in here.

Jared do not have this habit of keeping stuff..only $/AP he earned in his own drawer.

Since last week, kids swim lesson transfer to TPY swim pool, even though it was at 10.30am...the sun can be so so bright compared to Spans Joms where there is more shelter..

So I really cannot tolerate the sun mark on her legs anymore..decided to splurge on the new swim suit that covers everything..heh

Celebrating Belated YX's birthday

Due to the fact that all 4 of them sick concecutively, from viral infection(ulcers in mouth), to the real hfmd(YC)..so Yanxi bday party was cancelled..and we finally get to see them a wk later.
