TRBK Concert 2013 Full Dress Rehearsal Part 1

I'm struggling with whether to go or not go to attend the school concert..partly we didn't like the costume, and she's not the MC this year..but finally we all went including daddy...

And guess what, I'm glad we went...She was somehow lucky to be at the center of the stage throughout...but she don't remember her dance step!...and very unsure of what to do all the time..kinda messy performance..


At the music hall, despite the mad morning rush..we managed to comb her hair so nicely that the teachers cannot stop complimenting how good she look for majie..heh..

Jared's Mandeville Concert 2011

We only started to practise the dance movement with him in the last wk..doing not bad..and he had fun with the concert..

Mandeville Annual Concert 2010 Part 1

This year, (not sure with previous year though)..all kids who joined the monthly ensemble lesson can join the concert..So I thought why not let him try it. But it has been stressful throughout though..first all the kids in ensemble seemed to be way advance..and he didn’t dare to play for so many month till about july..and started to enjoy only after august ensemble?

Having problem to catch with them made him worried..

But finally on the concert & its rehearsal, he played not bad..with his dance step..

Concert was at 3.30-5.30pm, assembly time at 2.45pm

We reached slightly earlier at 2.30pm and has parked Kaylen at Whampoa..cos we didn't want her to disturb us during the concert..heh

This kind of concert can be quite stressful for me at times..I need to plan his meal times, poo time..and dressing up time..so bz.

Proud daddy, solely in charge of his dressing..and performance...We worked very hard the week before..stop all his other works just concentrate on practise the parnip polka and little einstein song..We found the tunes from you tube and made him follow it..

Walking so slowly..we didn't know we had to get a ticket for him to sit with us in the hall..so he had to follow teacher to the waiting room..next yr we shall do that..

I sewed Kaylen’s top the night before..purchased from gmarket ..turned out weird cutting..heavy on shoulder area..and big sleeve..she chose to wear this over another top cos she said I sew it for her..

TRBK 2010 All I want to do Concert

With last yr's experience, we were more planned this yr..though still mad rush..1st cancel the normal violin lesson, leave for whampoa earlier, ask them what they want for lunch? and they ordered chicken rice...It was such a breeze feeding them both...and finally leave Whampoa for sch at 12pm..Last yr i thk we left at 12:45pm ..

What happened last yr was, while I sent Jared to classroom and helped him get changed, dear daddy stand by aside play with his hp, and forgot to queue for entry..and in the end we q sooo far behind and sit sooo far too.

This year we managed to queue in top 15 family bah..hehe..still sit a little far lah, abt 4-5 row behind.

We had to take bus and walked all the way from novena sq cos no cab at lunch hour...but so glad we were still early 12.40pm ..When we reached there were only 3-4 kids inside the classroom only..last yr wah, most kids are done, and parents were bz taking kids pics..while jared havent get changed...

Next yr Jared graduating...and have more tics..so I swear we must be top 5 family..hehehe.
