Happy 41th Birthday to Daddy

Early Celebration with a "Disaster" cake..Cranberry Jelly Cheesecake..I was too impatient..and didn't wait long enough for the cheese to set..still, it taste equally nice..and kids love it.


On the actual day, we took half day leave to try out a new restaurant..Prive Grill at a small island Keppel...just beside vivo city..It was a nice place  but it had to rain heavily...so we didnt have chance to walk around...and after lunch we had to rush for movie at Vivo..We are sure to bring the kids along next time for breakfast at Prive Cafe..

The set lunch was at $35 per pax with a 3 course meal.  We chose all kind of food we never tried before, For appetiser, we had some duck roll, and ox tounge...didn't like quite like it, for maincourse we had steak and tuna. Steak was super good..but tuna a bit yucky.  For dessert we had dates & pecan tart with ice cream and creme brulee..The dates tart was so so good.  A hit and miss restaurant..but for the surrounding, its certainly worth a trip for that special occasion.

Jared's 10th Birthday

Busy with his CCA for Prize giving presentation, that's how he spent his 10th Birthday.








Jared had to spend the whole day in school from 6.45pm till 9pm..and we finally got to celebrate with him really late at Bishan Swensen..He can't even smile properly because too tired already.



I always wanted a pic with 2 of them in uniform, but one in AM while the other in PM school, it really posed some difficulties to let them meet in uniform.  But see, Jared can't even smile properly for me.

This year, I ordered the cake from Imina again, since it's good review last year..and this Elsa cake turned out to be a hit! So many teacher, or school staff, came to ask me if its very ex.







Kids were always so curious, and the boys can't believe its another frozen cake. heh.

It's daddy's 39th birthday!

Couple dinner at Zhong Shan Park Starker..

The yummiest beer we had ever had, especially we are non-beer drinker..yet we both like the beer.

We had escargot as starter, lamb shank and baby ribs as main course, and another beer dish-pork belly.

But the main course was a little disappointing especially the lamb shank.


Dinner came out to be $100..reasonable price, but got ruined by the lamb shank..what a pity!

kids spent week to draw the big poster for daddy, till last night on their bed they were still drawing all kinds of things they like till they slept without turning off the light, and door open with aircon on...

This is probaly the only pic Jared had with his grandma alone..since he hated so much to take pic..so in his presentation its always cut away others, or with Kaylen with grandma. We needed 1 proper for his chinese show and tell.

Today each of us also wrote a letter for the kids to receive in 10 yrs later as a project for the 10th anniversary CEC camp. The church will send out the letter to the kids in 10yrs. Wow..I hope this blog still goes on to record the moment!
