Inline skating...signed up!

We have signed up for 4 lesson for Jared..but have intention to sign up another 4..since 4 lesson its only guaranteed for rink...and with 8 lesson, it is guaranteed from Fort Road to MacD.

This is a make up lesson specially arranged, we got the gears from Coach Edward too...$170 in total for gears..and $150 for 4 lesson course fee..

It's my reward to him for maintaining top 3 in class!..hehe..


Today is the 3rd time he skate, we practise on our own...when his daddy was fixing up the helmet..for the 1st time Jared became impatient...and scold his daddy he is waiting time...and asked him to faster...He has improved quite a bit...and getting more confident..


Now..he got much confident.  What coach said was so true, every 5 min on wheels, you will realised you are better than the last 5min.

Sleeping through in Separate room

Kaylen used to cry only after 5-10min in koko's room together with koko..

Then recently koko was complaining very hard that he do not want to sleep in his own room..so after trade, Kaylen was willing to try to sleep in his room...

1st night she cried half way so badly till wanna vommit.

2nd night, I told her I will open her door room, if she woke up she can come our room.
So she cry a bit standing outside our room

3rd night..she slept through and this is a pic caught at 8am in the morning!..YAH



4th night..She climb to our bed aybe 4-5am...no cry..

Finally...we will be buying a new bed for her to let her sleep with koko...

Looking forward to the day where I've finally shifted them out of my room.

The final few Ballet lesson at Ballet & Music Co., United Square

After 2 yrs of ballet at Ballet & Music Co., I've finally decided to quit. It was when I noticed that there is a new ballet school at Spans Joms that is offering lesson at $120 per term that is $200 cheaper than Kaylen's current ballet school. She learnt nothing much except tall giraffe after 2 yrs,that I finally cannot stand them also.. Most of all, I desperately need to start Kaylen on music class..so cutting down fees on ballet is necessary..heh.

Then after talking to Dancing star at Span jom, I noticed that they do not want Kaylen to join the current pre-primary and wanted her to start on brand new class in case she could not catch up..so again, even though the location was perfect..I decided against them as well.


Finally after some research and asking around, I've decided on Sylvia Mccully at Thomson Plaza..a  ballet school with good reputation...and most of all lesson is only $120 for 3 mths....GOSH, I've been paying $320 to Ballet& Music all these while...

I got a bit shock to see how run down was Sylvia Mccully ...but later on saw the huge no. of students and how gracefully they request the kids to enter the studio and come out...I now do understand why they have so many kids..

Now the class is at 9.30am to 10.30am...so it meant we have to wake up much earlier and travel a bit further..and after class in fact, Kaylen and me have to take bus ourselves to united square to meet daddy...Good thing is there is 3 bus that goes there!

These are the videos taken during ballet&music open class... Its such a happy class, no wonder Kaylen like the school so much. At Miss Mccully lesson, no one can talk or sing, or make noise...its traditional ballet school..so Kaylen gave a thumbs down for the new ballet sch hehe.

Just a  note on how KPO is Kaylen, she actually told Teacher Asya that she is going to new ballet school on the previous lesson...so we teased her if she was gonna tell her that her new teacher name is Miss Lee and Miss Mccully..etc.

A very busy weekend..for the start of June holiday

Firstly we had double ballet class...

new ballet trial class at Sally Mccully, Thomson Plaza, then old ballet class at united square...and finally orientation skating class.




Jared's 1st ever experience with inline skating...surprisingly he was doing very well...Kaylen, was the one who was so scared from beginning to the end..and learnt nothing.

Her reward for sleeping on her own without crying at koko's room...and didn't cry at new ballet class.

After hearing Kaylen doing so badly at skating class still got reward..Jared was asking for some reward as well...So I've decided I might want to buy the skating set for him and enrolled him for 4 classes...As its really so nan2 de2 that he  is willing to take up some sport!

She sneezed and didn't have tissue...so we waited for daddy to come down and clean her carefully, not to ruin her nose "makeup" hehe.

Jared’s Update 7yr 6mth

24-May-2013: Received his first ever call from friend!

Why am I so excited about it?

He is the loner in school…so naturally do not have any or many friend.

But this yr he has improved quite a bit…occasionally he will get demerits from talking to friends.

The  friend, Lucas, called on my hp while we were on the way to Sentosa. He said, Hi, I’m Jared’s friend. Can I talk to him?

I casually asked the kids

Me: Hey, you all want a new meimei or didi?

Kaylen: Yes, I want I want…I want pls

Jared: Don’t want..I don’t even want this meimei..

Recently this boy has been complaining over me don’t really love him..and as a result he also don’t really love me. He get all kind of grumbles when he needed to write love poem for me for mothers day..hehe

It has to do with my strict schedule to work on his studies..

That’s why some parents rather spend the $ on tuition than tense up the relationship.

Not very good..kinda worry if can’t get into top 3..and as expected, my nagging prolongs..hehe…

Ah yi's birthday party

After Luke's birthday party, we rushed to Sentosa for the ah yi's birthday..to make good use of their complimentary car park. It was jam, and finding parking chaos...so we didn't do much..except a dip at the swimming pool. Well, at least I finally managed to try the Malaysian food street there.

Luke Chee's birthday party

Kaylen's best friend Luke Chee's birthday..held at SPGG, Dover.

It was Kaylen's 1st trial on bowling..I thought there was lighter version of bowl for kids..but actually there was only no. 5 /9 for them. It was still quite heavy.

Both birthday boy and Kaylen wasn't in good mood, and kept complaining it was a boring birthday party..hah.

At night, Kaylen told me, now Chee Le's best friend is Panitan, while Luke's best fren is Ting shun..and her best friend changed to Luke Ng...actually she still miss her old best friend Chee Le and Luke Chee. No wonder the boys are not like bees around her anymore
