Jared miss the market outing on the previous day..so we convinced him to go the next day..But today there isn't any chicks or duckling anymore..left the adults for sell..heh

At Sarikei park...it almost rain everyday this time we were home, so we only get to go the park 1x..

Feeding fish..the park have the cheapest fish food...a pack cost only rm0.50...with both kids growing up, its impossible to share a pack..each demand a pack and when Kaylen finish she asked for more..heh

We got back to Sarikei on the 3rd day 23 Dec, after dinner gathering with relatives at Sibu for tangyuen day.

Jared couldn't recognise Sarikei hse..and we kept having guessing game on which is our house along the way..heh

Hometrip 21-29 Dec 2011 Part 1

The last we went home was Feb 2010, almost 2 yrs we didn't go back..Since Jared starting P1 next year, we won't be able to make it for CNY..so we decided to go back this Dec holiday. This time we used Air asia from Sg..love shopping at the airport..

PeiChun P1 Orientation 29-Dec 2011

It’s much anticipated..we arrived just a day before the orientation after spending a week back at hometown.

With everyone was away from home for the week.. we woke up with parents back from their China trip with all the gifts and food.

Changed Jared and we took a free ride from Weiming to school.


Arriving slightly early we can take the 2nd row seat. Jared was being asked to sit with the class ..He was assigned to 1D with Mr Winson Kok, looking very young and play guitars.

After a series of talk..we were allowed to join the kids at their classroom.

They were seated on the floor and working around a book with teacher asking question..


Jared was so busy with his nose..he probably wasn’t concentrating all the time..there few gals who raised the hand almost every single question..

He was not too bad…I think did answer about 2 question..

After that was canteen time, where parents are allowed to guide kids with buying food.
He chosed the oriental delights because of the fried rice..but they wasn’t selling, so vendor asked him if noodle is ok. He said ok..so paid the $1. And brought back the noodle to the 1D table.

Got him a new wallet a day before from Kuching's The spring mall ..which cost RM32.90 shinkashen..heart pain..and hopefully he don't lose the wallet..

Noodles was hot, and scalded his lips few times..but he wasn’t complaining..(at hm, I would expect him to shout at me..stupid mummy, so hot how to eat..yes, he is very naughty and mean)
Then he finish the noodles and fishball and even meat balls..(again at hm, he would be spitting out the meat balls..as he absolutely hate process food & meat)

Finally he even finish the soup and attempted to tilt the bowl to try to dry the soup..hah. Daddy’s pv friend saw it, and commented, wahh got so nice meh?


I asked him why he can finish the noodle and meat ball even if normally he don't like it. He said, not nice also must eat..Didn't know he is much matured in school.
It’s a wonderful experience ..am so glad to watch him being so independent..and he definitely need to improve on his attention span and stop shaking and turning around.

We found a perfect pic spot ...its always asking him to stand on octopus..he look quite big size in the oversize uniform..hah..am so glad that he is average size kid now in the new school rather than the smallest during TRBK. hah.

My Birthday Celebration

On my actual birthday celebration we went Jumbo, as being a jumbo member I'm entitled for a birthday cake from Baker's inn..

Went direct from office..and we had a big table..This was probaly the very few time  I order a sumptious dinner..with scallop, cereal prawn and 2 type of crab...But we were so bz eating so did not have pic of food..since dinner started late like close to 8pm as restaurant was really crowded.

We only started to practise the dance movement with him in the last wk..doing not bad..and he had fun with the concert..

A good improvement this year was do not need parent to buy extra ticket for kids..they were actually give seat at the 2nd level to view the concert... 

 a bit pai seh lah, still in beginner ensemble with so many 3yr old kid performing..hah..that's why we think about it for some time before decided to let him join..and luckily he enjoyed the concert..

This year's concert ticket price increase a lot as xmas buffet dinner was included. Each head count is like $24..and eat at canteen...3 of us paid extra 60-70 for the canteen catering..very heart pain..we could have use the $ to eat at proper restaurant with aircon...argh..All the parents and kids were so dress up to queue for buffet catering..and eat at canteen..hah

My 34th birthday Pre Celebration

Today we were on PM leave as its the 1st appointment of our Sembawang hse...and after the HDB appt..we went to have high tea buffet at Barracks, Demsey..Its the 1st time we both go there..skipped our lunch..and when we reached there was almost 3pm+..Imagine how hungry we were..heh


So the very first few bites of the food..was so so so yummy..although the place turned out not as nice as what we researched on the net..

The cupcakes are very good, not sweet..and bite size..

 The salty item, skinny pizza..which is so yummy..the vietnamese roll..not bad, but if have chilli would taste better.

The buffet area in a glass window room..not the type like hotel..but enough to feed all..and even the hungry us couldn't try every single item...But we actually expect to have scones and finger sandwhiches..a little dissapointed it wasn't there.

Overall, its still value for $..its abt $22+ per pax..
