I used to think it was really good of her at 2.5 yr can do the class so well like the rest 4 yr+.
Now that I watch her myself..i noticed that 4yr+ certainly do the dance actions more gracefully..She's just like elephant clumsy action..hah.

But there were at least 3 who were still crying..so Kaylen is really doing very well already.

When teacher asked them to say and point head and shoulder, knees and toes one by one..Kaylen can do it right and say out loud. Really so proud

A hot Tues-vesak day at the beach

It was such a shave no need to go back to office on the public hol finally..So I truly enjoyed the day...Had breakfast at Whampoa market then we went to East Coast park...the beach and car park was so crowded, waiting for parking for at least half an hour.

 The beach look so white..and blue sky...i felt I'm in phuket for the 1st time in SG

This must be the 3rd yr we participate..1st yr Kaylen was only few mth old, we purposely went to take pic at Bishan booth. For last yr & this yr, we took it at United Square..since we have enrichment there. Of cos we never win anything before, except for the free photo print out. This yr Jared being at the age limit, I did not insist him to take..

This yr Kaylen should look the best..Heh

Preparing Jared for P1

So daddy say Jared don't need tuition now, we shall do the teaching ourselves..while col's kids go to learning lab which is said to teach 1yr advance of stuff..but it's so ex..2 subject per term is 500+..more ex than his daily sch..so big no no.

We started K2 stuff last Aug/Sept..and completed the Jumbo book early this year..and since then I started him on the 3 books for P1 in particular.

I find them very useful as in I get to learn how to teach him as well...like maths, number bonds..which is something new.

He's weakest part must be writing sentence on his own..cos he can't spell most of the words he need to use..and him being so lazy I can't do much with him in the evening..

We'll see how he goes..

On the 21-Apr..we officially completed the 100hrs PV for Pei Chun + Hong Wen..phew..it was so stressful being on leave half day each person per wk..till our bosses commented lost count.hah..

Waipo's Birthday & Mother's day celebration

We came to vivo's bosses restaurant for dim sum branch...Most restaurant were fully booked even few days before mother's day. This is the memorable pic..ah yi at 4-5mth preggie..looking twice of me..hehhehe

Dim sum at bosses in general quite ex. But the restaurant interior looking very nice & high class...glad to bring family here..and since its brunch..most don't have much appetite..that helped me save some $. Their egg tart must have been sg's best egg tart..tasted really good.

A day out with Mummy

Daddy car punctuare the night before on expressway on our way back to Sembawang, so he needed to bring car for new tyres..so the best option was me & Kaylen take MRT while he bring Jared to fix car, since jared don't have lesson that day.

Somehow certain things are definitely done better by daddy..Just like cycling...I can't cycle..so it was daddy's job..he was the one deciding when is it time to remove that 2 wheel..and ignored my constant nagging earlier on..hah

2011 Sg Election Fever

The election this year has been creating so much talking point, even dear daddy & me who's not Sgporean has caught attention..

And guess what? Even Kaylen is aware!

Whampoa's MP Heng Chee How came on a visit during sch off time..Kaylen went up to him and shake his hand..while Rouqi quickly ran away..

Mr Heng asked her what's her name? And she replied "Kaylen"..he praised her for being smart...According to mum she was the only kid who's able to answer a stranger...hehe

And so now when she see Heng Chee How's poster..she would shout neh, wang zhi hao loh

Daddy's birthday-actual day

 No special celebration as we just had 2 feast, grandma's bday on Sun, our couple steamboat fair on Tues...so it was simple cake session only on actual day 29-Apr...I got daddy an i phone this year, in fact his plan is up every 2yr in apr...so every 2yr I gave him a new phone..hah.

Kids went to Toa Payoh with Waipo to get the cake..
Apr-May is a very bz period for us...We had grandma, daddy, Mum, and ah yi's bday..then after which we can take a break till aug/sep gonggong&Kaylen's bday...till Nov/dec Jared& mine..hehe

His 1st exam, and the 1st 100marks

So Jared got 100 marks for his level 9 mental arithmetic exam...I wished in future every exam he came hm with full marks..hehe

About abacus..I'm kinda worried..if next year he got into afternoon session P1, it will be hard to continue the lesson..It will be such a waste to stop..as I can see it really has got its own way to train up very young kids to do difficult math sum..This helped as in he won't be scared of nos. in future..

He probaly can learn the multiplication sums by this year..We'll see how it goes..

Grandma's 84th birthday celebration at JB

Feast at suteramall food court, Evergreen..dishes were very well done...especially the chicken...All these(excluded 1st dish mee suah) for RM290, so cheap if we convert..heh..It's portion was so huge too..slightly more than enough for 14 of us.

Sg conversation rate is really so powerful, my fav roast chicken..such a big fat chic was only rm30..probaly Sg12-13?? Oh mine...

The only "not so good" abt this restaurant was it's halal..so no ku luo rou ...hehe

Group photo time..this had to be 1st time we had so many ppl celebrating grandma's bday together...we should try to do it every year...Even though it was long weekend, there was no jam in and out..traffic was free flowing...Lucky

As usual I insist of baking  a cake..but to my surprise, no vanilla essense, no baking soda at home..so I just went ahead and add some honey..and do without baking soda..hehe
