My mum lately invested in another Chinese Poem books..Jared managed to learn quite a no. of poems...

Happy Birthday Jared!

We took leave and wake up at 7am to check time and which cinema to go for the Bee Movie...So sad, vivo showing at 11.40am, coincide with Jared's meal time..so we have to search for another place...We shortlisted Balestier (so that my mum can take shorted time to reach if Jared were to grouch), Plaza Sing, Bugis (near to Hot air balloon)....Finally we recalled that we need to go Suntec for the samsonite shop, to see if shell point can be exchange with any luggage bag....hehe....and off we go to Suntec's Eng Wah to watch.

Arrived at Suntec about 9.40am, bought 10.15am tics...and rush to coffee bean for breakfast...Jared took quite a lot of egg (scrambled/steam), his fav sausage and tomato from salad. Got our Ice Milo & Pop corn (although we were not hungry, thought these would help him queiten down..hee), and entered the cinema at 10.15am sharp to find that we got the whole place OURs!...Nah...no stress liao hehe...

Jared stayed quietly throught the 1st hour, open his big eyes watch through...while we occasionaly check him up and feed him pop corn...finally after 1hr...he said .."hui2 jia1" heh..OMG...daddy continued to distract him by narrating stuff happen in movie..heh! From then Jared occasionally start to ask question about movie...and finally everything ends...Yippie!...We survived! heh!

After that we saw dark sky....so sad..and continue to Samsonite...we bought nothing(too ex) and our Shell Point can only exchange for 100bucks while the stuff there min is 300+. Haiz

And continued to hv lunch at a Jap restaurant call Pie2 Fu3...which serveed paper steamboat... Then after lunch rain more more...so we go home and with a shock that the parking fee $9+...Jared slept half way journey..and continue to sleep till 4.30pm...

I went recky for small cake ..but couldnt find..but just cant get over it..so finally I decided to bake some muffn for him...heh. Bake vanilla muffin with not enuff vanilla, so add honey, no cake flour and cannot find constarch!...So you guess how bad was the muffin..heh...
Oopss..another bad thing happen...

I went to throw rubbish leaving Jared alone at the Gate...He saw me out of sight attempt to close the gate himself...and his finger got stucked...He cried so badly while me run so fast to see him..I promise not to leave him alone..any other thing can wait.

Then when change his shoe, his head bang to wall...now got 1 baluku..so poor thing...
To make up of all these, I offered him to bite my finger....Daddy say stupid...You know what? He bite non stop...my finger almost torn into 2..heh

That nite, he got crazy...I asked him to kiss my tummy, ears, lips..he did everything..hehe

Overall I felt this is a much enjoyable and fun birthday..no regrets of spending so much on the chalet ($270 Nov07 vs $60 Oct06 ).

I would try to make it an annual event..Too fun!..hehe

But if ask Jared if he still wanna go chalet...He will ans, No..Go Taiwan, Chinatown..instead..heh!

Day 2 Chalet &Last lesson of JG

Day 2 afternoon we went Wild Wild Wet with the complimentary tics with chalet booking..But no pics..Jared had a bad fall there and now his face still hv severe blue black..He was frighten with the water pouring from the big bucket when we just get into wild Wild wet. So the whole time there, everytime his face kena water, he will shout "Go home" hehe..

He don't like Wild Wild Wet..and so the whole time there hardly smile and cling to daddy like Koala Bear..hehe..Finally fell asleep...

In the evening, we went to JG for the last lesson.

Happy Birthday at Downtown East Chalet Day 1

This is Jared's 2nd trip to Downtown east Chalet. The last was to celebrate Wei Ming's bday. Since then, I yearned to go chalet for bbq...so finally book it for Jared's bday celebration.
We took half day PM leave to pick up Jared and the rest, checked in at about 3pm.

Another Milestone: Toilet Trained 23Mth 3wk

Since Sunday Jared could tell he want to pee...and My mum will bring a potty to him so that he can shoot in it heh...

Then mum will add water in the potty and bring Jared to water the plants.

Today so embarassing, we brought him along to Whampoa CC to pay for Talent Plus school fee. He Pee at the CC office...Heh!

Watching Movies

Both daddy & Jared loves movies with Violence, Noisy with lots of bing bangs...air plane crash, fightings...and all the bad stuff hehe.

Last nite, Jared managed to watch Tom Hank's Cast Away with us almost through out...till about 12am..but I surrender first lah, followed by him..hehe...1 thing about his bad habit...He like to tell the movie story while watching..

For eg Cast Away at the beginning there's a long chapter of how plane crash and how Tom Hanks survived with safety boat.

So Jared tell us:

and He dun care about the story line, watever he want to watch he will yelled...

This is 12kg Jared kek sai hehe..He finally managed to reach 12kg mark..but only during weekday..

I forgot to update something strange about Jared...

He like to check his weight at our weighing scale at home..hehe..When free he will zeroed the scale, and get up to check his weight. So it doesn't require us a lot of effort to know his weight leh..hehe

Page?: The next day was Sunday again, the caterpillar had a nice green leaf. After he wasn’t hungry anymore and he is not a hungry caterpillar any more..He is a big fat caterpillar. (This is our favourite, he can say such a long line without help, and he will only read this sentence when we flip to that page, although he couldn’t recognize the words..)

Pineapple Tarts

I've always like to eat Pineapple Tarts...so as KP.

Finally I've got the chance to make them at home...

My verdict: Outside pineapple tarts are definitely worth the $. Even though my pineapple jam are ready made from Phoon Huat...still I hv trouble tracing out from the mold. I gave up half way and ask KP to continue...while Jared watched Play School..hehe..( i repeat the DVD 2x for enuff time for us to finish the tarts..hehe)

Yum yum pineapple tarts..Me made the ball tarts..cos cannot tahan the moulding process
And weird looking open type tarts, cos I made the pineapple ball too big hehe.


Next round I'm only gonna made ball type tarts since no moulding required and taste nicer due to enclosed jam pineapple more moist. Also plan to get cloves(?) to make it loook like tangerine

Bird Park Visit

Saw my col managed to succesfully ballot Bird park tics..So of we went. The last visit was probaly when Jared was 9mth old, tics was from the same col too...hehe..helpes us saved $18x2visitx2ppl=$72.

I got a fright at Lory Loft, KP asked me to buy the food for bird feeding..just when I got the food..so many birds attacked me...standing on my shoulder, head, hands...in the end, I spilled the food loh. So pai seh.

After which KP carry Jared on 1 hand and another hand bird food ...his hand almost cramp..hehe

He was sick since last week down with runny nose..and proceed to caughing...He didn't have a good sleep the night before..wake up at 4am to ask for milk, but puke everything out after finish...and 5am again for milk...No, I'm not so tired..it was always daddy waking up to attend to him..... So the before going to Bird Park we brought him to Chong Pang Market for chwee kueh, his fav since his appetite has not been well lately...True enuff, he had quite a few of them..and occasionaly say hmmmm...

My review: Both books are pretty easy..perhaps to easy for Jared...the first night, he could say "Brown Brown Bear What do you see? I see a red bird looking at me"
But the repeated senstence make the book interesting.. He almost know the whole book now.

JG Update
Jared is considered one of the most kwai & cooperative kid in class since the start of his term 2.
Willing to return toys when asked...make me really happy and touch
Can sit through arts&craft session, paying his fullest attention to what teacher doing
And started to talk to Chinese teacher..and nowadays when Zhang Lao shi saw him sure got to tease him, knowing that he like to ask question...
"Zhe ke shi she mo?"
We thought perhaps he is older by now, also more used to JG environment..that's why the well behaviour.
But unfortunately during the parent chat session, Senior Teacher Lin broke a bad news to us..That's Teacher Meera gonna move on to Edudrama..and current class teacher stilll unknown.
I like JG and willing to continue is mainly caused of Teacher Meera's energetic & fun way of coaching. Now I regret so much continueing next term class especially if daddy not around to send /pick us up...worry worry..
Now considering if I should forgo the $50 deposit, and just quit next term...Haiz...

Home activity Update
Since this week, I've decided to add a bake&cook session with Jared at home. We bought some cute cookie mold...so this week we got Jared to make butter cookie...He made so much funny sound like ...arrr..hmmm...during the process...So funny.
After the cookie were baked, he tried quite a few which is something he never does.

Surprise Liking
We went to swimming on Sat evening, after that we tah pau from Chong Pang Nasi Lemak stall....while waiting to reach my turn, Jared saw the wide choice of dishes...and keep asking for Taiwan Sausages. When we get on the car, Jared havent forgot his Taiwan sausages keep asking...and when we got home..I got so surprised that he could finish the whole sausage on his own...Keep asking for it...

NTUC Trip
Everytime when we go to NTUC Jared is sure to request to see crab. As usual I brought him to the crab session and proceed on to see the fish, mussels and hum display on the icy rack
I got surprised when he could identified "flower crab". Daddy said he taught him.
Then when we see hum...Jared say, "Na4 ge4 shi4 hum, Mummy si3 huan1 chi4" (That's hum, mummy like to eat")

Me so happy and touched..hehe..But that day's outing was a bad one, Jared refused to walk or sit on stroller..while I couldn't tahan carry him + pushing stroller..so he cried bad time...all the way till home...not until I offer him apple+cranberry Juice...Jia lat.
Now I so scared to bring him walk walk liao..

So sueh at East Coast?

It has been a while we went for cycling at East Coast. So decided that we would go cycling this weekend and have buffet breakfast at Beach Hut since they usually don't open on Sat except public hols.
Breakfast at Beach Hut has deteorated a lot...probaly would be our last visit..
And this is probaly our most sueh visit to East coast. It rained so heavily for twice we were stucked..
