Day 11 1-Dec 2018 Friday
Royal Mile/ Edinburgh Castle / Greyfriars Kirkyard/
Christmas Market/ Princess street
The morning started with returning the car to Hertz, and after
that we explored Edinburgh on foot which the kids complained & complained.
We walked to Royal Mile to arrive at Edinburgh Castle, it wasn’t
as Royal as I would have expect..just a normal brick tiled road ..hmmm..
Edinburgh Castle was more compact, more exhibit and better
maintained than Windsor Castle.
Kids had pizza as early lunch which cost GBP7 in the castle,
while daddy & me shared a Oink sandwich, it was indeed worth the rave.
After castle, we explored Edinburgh Christmas market, again it
was over crowded. Finally tried the mull wine..tasted quite nice & warmed
up the body.
Kaylen had a go at few rides before we left for dinner. To our surprise, the restaurants near
Princess street were all full before 5pm..and we had to wait 1hour for our
table.
