NZ2016 Day 7: Queenstown 1 Dec 2016

It was still very cold at Te Anau..that's why other than grocery shopping we hardly visit this town or take pic here..

Due to very bad wifi at the holiday park, I didn't contact our next apartment..so I came to Queenstown and panicky when the owner didn't pick up the phone..It turned out that they both work so didn't have their phone with them..

The 1st thing to do at Queenstown was to queue for Fergburger..that took about 30mins and picnic at Queenstown park..under the sun it was okay..but I was consistantly worried about sunburn..

18yrs ago, I didnt know NZ sun was so strong, even you feel cool..after sometime face will be completely burnt..

Probaly the 1st day after so a week in NZ that we could picnic..It had been so cold everywhere..


After checked in, we made our way to Skyline Gondola..and paid about NZD200 for Gondola and Luge ride










The luge ride was fantastic, the views was so breathtaking..and we can see helicopter see closely.
Among us 4, we shared the 11 ride luge...which was never enough..

First time ever Kaylen ride the luge on her own..She did a good job here!

Couple dinner at 9.30pm next to our apartment..Flame Grill...Thats the mix grill for one person at NZD48...had mussel and caesar salad..and margarita..cost NZD90 for the whole dinner..tabao half of the grill
