Lake Tekapo was either too cold , too windy..or we were in a rush to go..Really didn't had a chance to truly sit down there to enjoy the beauty, unlike the 1st time I was here..
Luckily we did spend a lot of time at The Barn..felt so much at home or better than home here..
After a long drive, around lunch time, we arrived at Duntroon, Elephant Rock
We looked so small with the big big rocks
Moeraki Boulders
Cablecourt Motel at Dunedin, after heaven at The barn this felt like meh...too small..but turned out, there were more meh motel after this haha..
Dinner at Khmer Restaurant...Dunedin is basically a dead town after 5pm..Kind of eery to be there..that's why it's hard to get used to. And we used to love Cambodian Satay Noodle which was the cheapest food in NZ 18yrs ago..at NZ5...but now at NZ12-16..it was too sweet for our liking.
Bored with Dunedin, the 1st city were in after Lake Tekapo, luckily we found this place..Baldwin Street, world steepest road to explore..
The 1st to reach..
Going down the street is even more scary!
Dunedin Train Station
Pizza for supper as they could not get used to Cambodian dinner. 8 slice hawaiian pizza from Pizza hut cost NZD5..it's a must have in Dunedin..cos daddy and me had Eagle boy pizza in Dunedin the last time we were here..But Eagle boy was bought over by pizza hut in NZ..
