Heli Hike ! That was how I spent my 21st Birthday...so at 39th 1day ..I was back at Fox Glacier

Weather was bad ..so we weren't able to know if we could fly till 5mins before trip..

It was ice in there..really slippery
When the heli arrived, everyone got to squat down due to the strong wind...
I was glad that we didn't bring Jared along..cos it was really dangerous to walk on the ice..even I had a fall...Compared to glacier walk 18yrs ago, this heli hike was much easier..in fact, I could almost remembered every detail of the walk, like how daddy asked me to walk faster, so that will not delay the team and make angmoh not happy...haha..The last time we only paid NZ30+ for the walk..now we paid NZD425 each for the heli hike. It was a good birthday present for myself...No regrets!
The kids and grand were left in motel..so they visited the kiwi exhibit..and paid like NZD50 to go in...Happened that kiwi exhibit only had 3 kiwi under super darkness..*faint*..But Jared learnt a lot of new knowledge.
Most times at the hotel they will watch cartoon over cartoon...
