This bed was chosen by Jared..out of the rest like double decker, fire engine etc..He just like this simple piece..Cost $328 with delivery $50

She finally can read English!!

Has been really lazy to work on her..since I was really bz with work and she has been skipping afternoon nap, so she would sleep early. Last night pick up the book with her again..and surprise she could read Peter&Jane 1B with minimal help already!

Swapped her to the 11:30am ballet class ..she was initially sad at first since she don't know any other kids..But now she's fine already.

Bump into the machine that sell Wonka sweet at United Square..so let Jared had a try..since we read the Charlie and the chocolate factory book and watch the movie..

Managed to try this new restaurant as its near our ID.

Super love the bread roll, came warm and soft...but the soup was so-so...luke warm

The Entre...very special way of doing escargot with crossaint..nice...

Main-duck confit..too salty..but our conclusion is French make the best roast duck..hehe

Whampoa B114-Master bedroom bedframe

Made our decision finally on Cellini's bedframe..and got it at a deal..so happy.

Right after CNY, we saw this bedframe and was offered 1.2k if we take it on that day itself..luckily we decided not to. and yesterday when we shop again..I managed to bargain it to 1k!

Another item that we managed to have very big saving is the Samsung 46inch SMART internet TV..most of places is selling at 2.2k and above, we manage to grab it at Courts Clementi on its opening sale at $1899..

Cloth material can be changed

1 of the weekend, we get not so busy and get to go east coast for picnic dinner..Kids were so happy..we are extremely busy lately with the new house, buying furnitures and also Jared's extra violin lesson.

Thats how much Jared can eat for lunch, 1 bowl of pontian noodle, 1 slice of Yakun bread, 1 egg, and 2 piece of nuggets plus some fries..

This is such a beautiful princess bed..$688 without mattress...can't bear to buy it for her..heh.

Got the groupon voucher $15 for $30 value.
Bad choice..the burgers are so so ex. All the stuff in there are so ex and yet taste so so..

But it mark a new milestone for Jared, his first kid meal burger. Since he is never a burger person.

Dad's birthday Celebration Dim Sum @ Taste Paradise, Ion

Thought this is the colourful xiaolongbao restaurant..only realised its not when we got there.

Very very high class..one of the most ex dim sum restaurant we've been...and super crowded and long wait.

So hungry that the kids have to eat biscuit while waiting..and there was timing for the seating 11:00 to 12:30pm..but the food only come around 11:45am..and by the time we pay 12:40pm, they like already keep reming next round guest is waiting outside, yet they took so long to bring the bill..

Almost all the dim sum tasted very nice, liu sha bao , char siew sou..egg tart.. must have tasted best in sg and even better than HK..

Very beautiful interior and nice uniform for the staff..but a bit proud lah..

This roast pork portion came in a big shock..$12 for that few piece of roast pork..and half a piece some more..But the skin is cruchy..

Overall, if they serve faster, I think the dim sum is really worth going again..but not often..only when indulge..heh..Damage $250..

Whampoa B114-New home

Today our ID brought us to Hafary for tile selection..

After the tiles, we were brought to Palace lightings to choose the lights..damage was 2.2k. And after that we went to toileitries shop..happily choosing every items from scratch...basin, WC, taps, corner shelving, toilet paper holder...and when the bill came..it turned out to be a shock again! 2.5k!

And we stil have so many more stuff, hood and hob, oven, aircon, water heaterx2, granite sink..

now kinda miss Sembawang, we only got the contractor to help buy 2 WC, and we moved in with minimal renovation. Its a complete different thing over here..We only gonna keep 1 ceiling fan to put in study room..other than that we're buying all new ones...Happy in the sense everything are our effort...just hopefully damage will be able to recover faster..lets put hope on next big sweep..hehe

Update on us Feb '11

New place
It has been 2 wks after we moved to Whampoa..and counting down to the new house ~ 1mth more..
We are going to start choosing tiles, lighting, furniture ..and $ will start to bleed...hehe..Just paid close to $14k for agent fees.

He had the worst experience getting loss in sch after music lesson yesterday, that the teacher Ms Wong..called me..and he came home continue to cry
