A week before her bday, during her abacus class, ..she told xie laoshi, 

Kaylen: 九月六号是我的生日

XIe Lao Shi: 我买礼物给你

So on 6 Sept she didn't go for class, as went JB for kitty town.

The next week 13-Sep: 

Kaylen: 你不是说你要买礼物给我吗?

Made teacher so embarassed, and promised to bring it next week! hah

She is just like me....have expectations for birthday...She would be counting down to Sept slowly from 30 days, to 10days and day by day...

Interesting Conversation (Kaylen @4yr 7mth)

Kaylen: I asked Chee Le to earn more $ when he grow up, so that he can buy me flower

Me: what did he say?

Kaylen: He say ok

Me: Why do you want flower for?

Kaylen: Get married lah. I want to marry Chee Le when I grow up what.

She has been showing strong preference for CheeLe all the while than Luke chee. She never ever say wanna marry Luke..hehe

But Luke is the more expressive boy who gave her pressies. Just after the bracelet wrapped in angpow, she showed us another bear puppet from Luke.

Me: Daddy’s birthday is coming, what do you want to buy for daddy

Kaylen: when is daddy’s birthday

Me: Apr, so what you want to give him?

Kaylen: Hp lah. His hp so lauyar

(Refering to Iphone4. Nowadays kids are so smart, know exactly which is good hp..hehe)

Ever since back from the TW trip, I haven’t been updating much..life is pretty simple…daddy went to KCH for mum’s heart prob for 3 days. During then, I realized, I’m the only one who will miss him..the kids were so happy they have less ppl to nag, and can “IN” = stay at waipo’s hse.

Marriage

Many years ago, probaly at Kaylen’s age now, Jared  had asked me if he will grow up to marry his meimei?

I said no. I found it very weird that I asked my mummy friends, do their kids ask this question. Yes, they encountered the same thing.

Then today (4yr 6mth), Kaylen came to ask me the same question. Will I marry koko when I grow up?

I said no..Again..

Her reply..har, then who I marry with?

My reply…Like Luke, cheele.

Her reply..Ok, I marry cheele.

Happily she ran away.

Mummy: Jared jared today mummy borrow a few nice books for u...take a look
Kaylen: Mummy, did you borrow any book for me?
Mummy: sorry Kaylen..don't have

So when molly library came to Whampoa we went to make her a library card...and borrow a few books for her..

Popular P2 assessment books
I just had a shopping spree at popular to get Jared's P2 assessment book and again I told Jared about it excitedly..

Mummy: Look Jared see what I've got for you!..Its all P2 books
Jared: oh noooo...
Kaylen: mummy, what book did you get for me?
Mummy: sorry Kaylen, don't have

*guilty*

So the next day I dashed to the Popular to get her a Math take off to P1..because we had the K1 and K2 jumbo book already which was used by Jared.

An eventful day for Kaylen, she got so much beating from daddy..
She use the pen to doodle on the parquet floor and the wardrobe..make the daddy mad..
And beat her so hard.

Kaylen: I’m angry, Daddy beat me, I don’t love daddy.

Interesting conversation by Kaylen 25mth old

After the morning lasik pre test, I brought grandma to NSC for op..and didn’t manage to have op..In the evening before we get ready to go to NEX, the new shopping..Kaylen pop out with these conversation

Kaylen: 太婆,你的耳朵怎样了? (She knew that I brought her to hospital)
Kaylen: Kua4 (割)了没有？(with the most wonderful, asscented Chinese..heh)
太婆：还没有
Kaylen: *looking at her ears* Aiyo，很力害了
This little pettite gal is going sch next mth just 3-4more wks!..Gosh..she can't really converse well in English yet, and so small size..but she loves circle time, and loves going to sch..so I thk she would definitely do better than Jared.

Interesting Conversation by Jared : 10 days to turning 5

Jared: What are we going to do in hong kong?
Mummy: Who told you we are going?
Jared: We are going…Are we going to take A380? *mummy think, jared lihai leh*
Mummy: no, budget.
Jared: budget is small plane, A380 is xtra large plane, normal is medium plane. What is xtra small plane?
Mummy: maybe jetplane?
*daddy came in*
Mummy: the boy is asking if we are going to take A380?
Daddy: nooo..A380 will crash, parts will fall down..so we take budget.

Jared is very enthusiastic with all the pics from newspaper, the news about this A380 plane crash recently..he even tried to read the newspaper!

*Kaylen spilled the whole container of cotton bud on the floor, while daddy doing the mopping ..and this is the 2nd time it happened today…So what daddy do next, is predictable..heh*

Daddy: 妹妹检起来
*Daddy beat*
*Kaylen cry, louder and louder while daddy continued to beat. *
Jared: Daddy, I think you better stop beating meimei,I will pick up.
Daddy continued..Kaylen continued her louder cry
Jared: 妹妹不要哭，koko 帮你检起来

I’m so touched with Jared’s gesture.

Kaylen: Daddy 你去美国 ah?
Daddy : Daddy 回来了lo
Kaylen: Daddy做mo回来
Daddy : 看妹妹lo
Kaylen: 我喜欢你leh,你读书又好，什没都不好


p/s her 喜欢 is very broken, sound like ci3 fan1
She would ask the same question to daddy again and again especially in the car..hehe.

It's even more interesting she says F1...sound exactly like H1

Interesting conversation with Jared 4 yr 11mth

The HK trip
Me: Jared, come let me show you something *refer to pics on Iphone*
Jared: wah..so nice
Me: We are going to Hong Kong you know..
Jared: is it budget or normal? *he refer to the flight, SMART kid*
Me: budget
Jared: normal plane food will just come, budget, no food..

When I was 5, I think I didn’t even come across the fact that we could take aeroplane…
But my 5 yr old is already complaining abt budget airline…Lucky kid..

I step into my FIRST Disneyland during my honeymoon 01-01-2005, when I was 27.
Jared step into his First Disneyland in June 2008 when he was 2.5yr, 2nd Disneyland&Disneysea Dec09, 4yr..and soon it will be his 3rd time to Disneyland Mar 2010 at 5yr old.

So how can we complain nowadays kids have hard life? They live life to the goodness..heh.

Life and death matters
While I was in the room continue surfing on HK hotel on my iphone, jared left the room to look for the daddy who was bz with HongWen PV..the rebus puzzle.
Next I heard is a big &sad cry from Jared..I dashed out thought he just got beaten by the daddy?? (common thing in the family! Heh)
Then daddy ask me, what did you talk to him? I thought, hey can’t be so sad over the budget airline…

Next they come to room
Jared continued his question

Why do ppl die?
Why do you grow up, and old and die?
What happen when you die?
Daddy: You go to heaven
How you go to heaven?
Daddy: I think you fly
What do I do in heaven?
Daddy: You play violin, study, play
While talking Jared was still feeling very very sad, and keep crying..saying that he don’t want to die.
Then talk about the coffin, and burn the body

Jared: Can I don’t want to be burn? Will I feel painful when burn?
Can I don’t grow old and die?

Anyway..finally he asleep..

The next day, daddy told me..he started the question like this

Jared: Why do ppl grow old and die? And there will be lesser and lesser ppl in the house, and finally nobody in the house..

*that’s how he get so sad*

Jared: Yixuan love me you know, mummy. She told me when we at the swing
Mummy: How about you ? do you love yixuan?
Jared: I love her, but she run away.
Mummy: How about anabel, do you love anabel?
Jared: I never talk to anabel.

p/s during our dec09 jap trip, Jared mentioned yixuan quite frequently especially after Kaylen took bath, he always burst into laughter saying Kaylen's hair look like Yixuan.
Then he also asked me, Mummy, how come Yixuan never come to our house?
