Breakfast at T3 Burger King, Kaylen saw pic below and asked, is Hongkong outside like this?
SQ and A380 did live up to our expectation...the seats were so comfortable, big space..and lotsa of movie to watch!
Behaving like suaku, taking lots of pictures in the aircraft..then to my surprise an air stewardess offered to help take our family picture!..This is what I called service!
The rides wasnt really a smooth one..as Jared was having "airsick" tummy pain..and once the seatbelt light off..he had nose bleed!!...then when food was served, they didnt want to eat...and when my food was served..they ask for poo poo time! Gosh...
We took the airport express and changed to K1 shuttle bus and dropped off at Eaton hotel. Kids were asleep and we had to wake them up to navigate ourselves to Madera..It was short journey, but with grouchy kids..it was tough..Luckily it was easy enough to get to Madera.
They were glad that hotel gave them potato chips..munching along before I had time to get ready the camera...
After a short rest, we were ready for our 1st meal at the ever famous Australia Diary nearby hotel.
This was where we first encountered cultural shock..bad service..and swear not to be back to restaurant to eat..heh. Tabao still ok.
Australia Dairy
Macaroni and steam pudding milk, White is ok. Yellow is so yucky, we couldn't finish it
We also order the spam sandwich..not nice
After a super rush dinner, we were ready for the nearby night markets-Temple street and the Fayuen street at Mongkok.
Kaylen insisted for a kok kok shoe like mine..and we got it after some bargain at Temple street and immediately she changed into it and for the rest of the days..she was in it everywhere.
The super vainpot daughter and mum...purposely by boot for trip hah
Kaylen with the egg waffle, tasted better than SG
When we 1st go out from hotel, Kaylen kept asking how come Hong Kong aircon like this? We had to explained to her its winter
