CB 19 & extension: Bubble tea making

Circuit breaker officially extended from 4 May to 1 Jun.

And bubble tea, bak kwa non essential fnb closed.

So everyone is now making ownself bubble tea

400g sweet potato

70g tapioca flour 

70g glutonous rice flour

Add some flour as needed & water as needed

After cook in big pot of water, put in ice cold water. Then place on a plate of sugar ...so that the balls can sip in the sugar.

Half recipe 200g flour baked at 220C 8min

Today is special cos Jared asked me is this your new clothes? 

I replied no..why ? I look slimmer is it?

Then he said top not much, bottom yes.

Wow..he is someone who wont notice the elephant disappeared ..so my hardwork of eating less, exercise more and body wrap worthwhile!

Don't know how many time I nagged at him..and how many time he assured me he is gonna get better than pass.

Taking all these exams cost quite a bit

Almost $600 for exam fees, $400 for grade 6 aural, 1k for grade 7/8 aural and $600 for pianist practise n exam session. And these are extra on top of regular violin teacher 's fee.

I could buy many many iphone11 pro with these $.

But the good news is no more spending on these enrichment.

Dalgona for circuit breaker day#5

Dalgona coffee...failed 3x becos don't have instant coffee,so used dripped coffee powder, 3in1, and nespresso.

Just have to use instant coffee. It tasted like cold latte with lots of milk.

Milo dalgona..too sweet for adult. Kids love it. But Jared asked why so much trouble for a 2min milo?

Easy & kids love them lots

Problem with circuit breaker? Things at home run out much faster...spent so much $ on grocery.

Covid19: changes to life

Changes to life: 

work from home, 

start exercise on days wfh

Cook lunch for wfh days and pack for lunch when have to go to office

Everyday of wfh, I aim to clock 10k steps. So jog/walk as a mixture

It's the last weekend before circuit breaker for a month..

Daddy's birthday fall within this period..and so eating out is out..there're we are ...enjoying last few chance of restaurant dining..
