Daddy's 42nd Birthday

We had it at Jamie's Italian at Vivocity..since all of us like Jamie's cook show

On the way there, Jared asked : Why Italian? Why not za chai fan4 at the food court?

And Kaylen told him, its daddy birthday lah

That's the major problem we had been facing nowadays..Jared like all the cheapo food at coffeshop & foodcourt..while the rest of us like restaurant..




Ravioli- I didn't like it..I think chinese jiao zi will taste better..

When grandma took leave..

Their grandma had been working for me since the kids were borned..like 11yr+

Couldn't recall how many event she needed to be away, and while daddy and me had to took over..

so it happened 2 concecutive weeks when relatives in Melaka passed away..

Since the start of P3, she has been waiting to be selected for monitor..and each new term she look forward to be chosen..but still not her..then she got the post trainee prefect..which made her equally happy..

CNY 2017 Day 8

Again forgot to take pics of the food I prepared!..I was quite amazing to do it all by myself..cos daddy had to bring kids for lesson

1) Fried noodle
2) Fry korean rice cake
3) Mushroom with rice wine
4) Vegetable curry
5) Mix vegetable brocolli/cauliflower etc
6) Hey Chor (bought and heat up in wok)
7) Chinese dumplings (bought)
8) Cheese sausage

and Mary brought many more finger food which was wipe clean...so I must remember this lesson learnt, do more on finger food..haha


I got surprise when was told   kid no longer play monopoly..but they played for short time only finally

Reunion Dinner 2017

New School Year of 2017

Jared started his P6 on 3rd Jan




He is such a big boy now...my new handbag, birthday pressie from daddy..Hopefully he could be as tall as me by the end of this year.


Kaylen started her P3 on 4th Jan.
We are now sending both kids to school as Kaylen's school bus comes at 6.05am, which was way too early.

Now They only have to wake up at 6am, we leave house around 6.25 to 6.30am...and Kaylen will walk home with the grandma..about 15 to 20mins walk from the new campus.





p/s I wanted this pic for 3yrs already..both of them taking together in their primary school uniform!

The last I managed to do it was Kaylen's P1 prize & Jared's 10th birthday  with Jared giving faces!

​Kaylen has always had problem to sleep earlier...so studying in the morning shift has been hard. And for the past 3yrs sleeping in the same bedroom as koko, she could never hear his alarm clock..now she had to get use to waking up with alarm.

But her 1st day of school was made brighter, as the school new principal Mr Lee Ming Wei open her car door to let her out...she felt she just attended Star Awards! hah​

​For Jared, he also preferred to be in school as he felt that the teacher torture him less than I do..​

NZ2016: Day16 CHC, Sydney, SG 10 Dec 2016

Woke up at 3am, and returned the car..





At CHC airport...I felt really sad..cos not becos the holiday is ending soon..it was only after 18yrs then I was able to step back into NZ...I felt after this I may not have chance to come back NZ anymore cos there is simply to many places I have never been and need to go...But NZ will forever have its place in us...

At Sydney airport..where we spent 8 torturous hour waiting for our connecting flight..arrived at 8am left at 4pm...faint..






Love this stuff at the airport..lost our Ipad cable when we moved out from the first accomodation The Barn..so this came really helpful



Felt so good to be able to finally board our British Airways plane back to SG

NZ2016: Day15 Christchurch 9 Dec 2016

Another cloudy day..sumner beach..

Daddy brought me here 18yrs ago too..it was where I got myself really tanned..We enjoy sitting by the beach with sunlight and yet feeling cool...

But this time round..I could not enjoy myself there..it was way too cold.. Luckily the kids already got used to this type of weather..so they enjoyed themselves so much there..

Back at CHC city..finding carpark with reasonable fee is tough..in the end, we park few blocks away..and paid NZD5 for full day..

The famous Cathedral..no work was being done yet..many part of the city was like abandon still

185 white chair-those these places were all in the city..it does take a lot of walking to reach them..especially hard when the wind were strong..  But being in a city, definitely not as nice as outskirt..we started to miss those beautiful scenary...and free parking everywhere..
