It has been quite a while since I last update this blog.
Jared is already 5mth old..wow…means I haven’t been writing here for 5mths! Missed out a lot of jared’s milestone liao.
Decided to start again before I forgot a major milestone:
Jared can flip!!! Start showing sign of flipping when we brought him home on 13 Apr and manage to do his first flip on Good Fri night 14 Apr in front of daddy and mummy. We are so proud and glad to be able to be the first person to witness this major milestone of Jared.

The Days after D day
I was told when the anaestic finished at mid day, I'll start feeling the pain..and was forced by the nurse to go to step down off my bed and pee in the afternoon.
First step like wanna faint..and so scary, so much blood in the pee..
After lunch, I took a short rest..and requested KP to bring me to see my baby in NICU at the visiting hours..I missed the morning visiting hour, cos I still could not get up from bed...I creeped all the way there..and was praised by the nurse that I'm doing not badly? I guessed that's the mother's nature..suddenly will become real strong for the baby!
I finally got to see Jared..He was small, with all the needles on his fingers and toes..I'm so heart pained..But I wasn't sad anymore lah..so was bz taking pics there with our hp and cameras..hehe..
The days after that turned out well..But was again heart broken when PD Dr. Keoy told me that baby can't go home with us. Immediately I started crying non-stop..rejected all friends visit.
But on the day morning I checked out, I was thrilled when the nurses from NICU told me that Jared could go into nursery now..but need to stay another night due to jaundice. We decided that I'll leave for home first, coz nothing much I could do there..no milk leh..
I remembered when Jared discharged it was already Wed, daddy took half day leave and off my MIL and mum with us to TMC to pick him up. So happy and excited..
After that my days revolved around breastfeed and the kiasu me trying all sorts of method to increase my supply hehe..

The D Day
Was forced to admit into hospital by everyone around, as I was having high fever. Kee Ping called Dr. Ang, he said 20% of chance the we may have infection, so why risk when 100% chance baby came out would be healthy.
So around 8pm+, Kee Ping drove me and my parents to the hospital. Make the registration and settled down in my "hotel" room. hehe.. We took the 1 bedder with a bunker bed for Kee Ping. The room is very comfortable doesn't look like hospital at all.
Dr. Ang came around 10+, checked on bb heart beat, which was 200+ at that time..Gave me a jab to lower my body temp...and at the same time he gave us 30mins to consider if we want to have c-section, since he need to go and do another delivery. He came back again in about 20mins later, so we told him the decision. And of the nurses came to help me prepare..start shaving my down under..dressed me in the green robe..and pushed me to the surgery room. Before Dr. Ang left, he reminded Kee Ping to bring along the camera..Nice doctor! We are delighted as usually emergency c-section does not allowed Hubby to go in together. But Dr Ang was really kind..
I was so scared. But the nurses are really kind..They told me, nothing to scared off..in half an hours time, you can see your baby already!
I was pushed into the surgery room..I must said completely different from what I expect again..It's a very big and bright room..From tv, i thought it would be quite dark..The anaestic came to inject epidural for my lower half body..Pain was tolerable..I felt I've gone to heaven at that moment..cos I was feeling really uncomfortable with the contractions.
Then Dr. Ang came in to cut me, just before he was ready to bring out the baby..KP can come in..So he stayed by me, while Dr. Ang "press" out the bb with anaestic Dr. 's help. Jared was born at 10.44pm.
We heard the baby's cries..so touched..Kee Ping followed the nurse to checked on the fingers, toes..and all the way to settled down with the baby.
Dr. Ang continued to stitch my wound..take about another 15-20mins..Then I was pushed back to my room..waited quite a long while for KP to come back into our room again..
When KP came in, I asked him if we should called the families..he didn't answer..Instead he asked me guess where is the baby?..I was shocked to know that he's in NICU!!..Broke into tears immediately..and we didn't call anyone..Neither could I hug my baby, I could only see his pictures from the camera..

Most miserable time in the pregnancy
On 8th Nov approx 8.15am, just when I had just finish our daily lot status review. While waiting for the rest to get ready for breakfast, I wanted to collect my printout.
Suddenly I felt a gush of water flowing...my instint told me that my water bag has burst..but I'm only 33->34 weeks. To be exact, it was on Tues, baby will only turn 34 weeks on that friday.
Called hubby, and he immediately rush over from company. While waiting for him to arrive...manage to give Doctor Ang a called. He asked us to go to hospital to meet him. As it was office hour, there was jam along PIE..on the way, doctor called again to ask about ah b's weight etc and asked us to reach the hospital by 9am.
The journey from company to TMC took approx half an hour...got myself into delivery room, change into blue robes ...and nurse help to put on CTG to monitor contractions and baby heart beat. After a long wait, approx 10am Dr. Ang finally reach.
Dr. Ang first explained if we were to be deliver the baby by that day, most probaly he will admit us to KK so that we wont suffer from high NICU cost. He did a check with 1 finger into my vagina to check cervix. Luckily cervix no dilation. So he told us the aim is to delay the delivery for 2 weeks. I was given ventolin drip and steroid injection-to help bb's lung mature and prevent contractions.
Was sent to 2 bedder room although we only booked a 4 bedder. The two day there was so miserable and dirty...1st time pee pee on bed with help of nurse...no bath are allowed....
Discharged on Thurs, 10th Nov. Move back to stay with my parents...since then I've felt much better.
Tomorrow ah b will turn 35 weeks, and we've got an appointment with Dr. Ang. Hope ah b has grown much more than last week (2.1kg at 34 week). and also hopfully we can delay ah b's arrival till 36 week.
Ah b, you must be strong and hang in there ok!

Ah b's CNY clothes
2 Nov
Went to Suntec to have dinner after work, since today 3 Nov is Hari Raya, mummy no need to go to work. So daddy and mummy had Kenny Rogers for dinner. But stupid daddy forgot to tell them to use the bonus cash in the credit card to offset for the cost of dinner..aiyo..
Walk around Suntec after the dinner, manage to see Fox baby shop..wow..the clothes in there are sooo nice and ruggart. Decided to choose 1 set of clothing for ah b to wear on the coming CNY. also bought socks + cap. All in blues.. Like the clothes very much..
Today mummy is gonna go out take public transport alone to mummy's fren house..See how everything goes yeah!

33th week
Has finally got the pregnancy photos from Yew Kwang- looks much better than expected.
Also went for 32th week check up, baby is 1.9kg. Next visit will be 3 weeks from now..a long wait again! Dr. Ang didnt try to do the 3D scan, claimed that bb not in position.. :(
Oh yeah, also went to Chinatown Cheong Choon Store to buy ah b the long waited...play gym + musical mobile, spent $168. A bit heart pain..also order the bumper mat from smallsmall world..Wowow..ah b havent born already got soo many things..hehe

31st week of pregnancy
Went to take pregnancy photo at Yew Kwang's place. Very nice but tiring experience. Manage to choose approx 20 pics and 8R, costing $128+$80 for make up. Yew Kwang took more than 200 pics in 2 hours of photoshoot.
Hopefully will receive the album by this week.

30th week
This week is 30 week of pregnancy..looking forward to the photoshoot book with Yew Kwang on coming friday. Hopefully he will know how to take nice photos showing the beauty of my big tummy..

28th Week Gynae's Visit
30 Sept Gynae Vist
Went to see Dr. Ang...Had the longest wait..doctor was late, only get to see ah b after 11am although our appointment was at 11am.
A bit dissapointed when Dr. Ang say his 3D/4D scan machine will only be in next mth. Will look forward next mth to see ah b then..
Good news is ah b is already 1.3kg and head is down..bad news is mummy's weight is uncontrollable now...3kg increased compare to last mth aiyo!!..
