Perth Trip 5-12 June Day 4 Part 3 [Manjimup-Margaret River]

Another half our drive, we got to Hamelin Bay, but didn't spot the stingray. However, the beach was the most nicest beach we've ever been to.







Then it was wine tasting time at the various winery in Margaret river..1st stop Leewin Estate, they got the nicest ground. After that was redgate, where my dad bought a bottle of red wine at AUD17











Tonight we spent a night at Sime Darby Park Residence. Big apartment in the center of MR town.

Perth Trip 5-12 June Day 4 Part 2 [Manjimup-Margaret River]

Bidding goodbye to Diamond forest cottages, the kids got their farmer helper cert and goodie bags.

Off we go for a 2 hr car ride to Augusta & Margaret River. It rained when we arrived at Augusta..so there goes my blue sky..arghh..

As it was raining, so we had our lunch first at the Augusta cafe..things were ex..but relaxing..

Perth Trip 5-12 June Day 4 Part 1 [Manjimup-Margaret River]

Gloomy but warm weather in the morning..

That morning our breakfast cooking, was joined by some peacock..Kids fed them bread





The car which brought us everywhere in Perth, loved it till max..

Perth Trip 5-12 June Day 3 Part 2 [Manjimup-Pemberton]

After the animal feeding ended, we decided to try out the canoeing..It was extremely cold that AM.

But kids excitement just got them to overcome the cold.

After the trip out to explore pemberton town and Karri forest, we are back in the farm for more canoeing

Bbq dinner again..We are having more lambs as it was really cheap, and kangaroo kebab!  I told myself I had to buy it else it such a waste that I've been to Australia for the 3rd time, yet didn't try it yet..Cost about AUD5 for 5 kangaroo kebab. Thankfully my dad loves it, in fact he found it again on our last day trip to Coles to bring home.


Its a full table of food..as we are leaving the farm, we cooked most of the stuff to bring to other place. Very little vege, as its very expensive there..a capcicum cost AUD3+, 1kg of banana at $4.99




After dinner, kids played monopoly for the 1st time with their dad till 11pm! while the rest of us already asleep.
