New books this week

We hardly buy books as I'm quite stingy..hah This wk so happened that we have some time at popular, so finally we got the Roald Dahl's Esio trot which Jared had been talking abt it. Its indeed such a nice , fun and simple that he finish within an hr. There goes my 12 bucks. Another book that I got is Ellie belly..from a local author... Jared happily told me it sound like Ellie is from Pei Chun as it mentioned Primary 1 J, got a diary like he do . .and staff rm in sch. Its extremely hard to find nice n interesting books for lazy boys like him...I wonder what title should I get next. That's Jared read only during poo poo time heh

We are most dreadful of tll compo homework.. its way to chim that I cant write it even for my sec exam and not even post grad thesis hah. this is largely with help of daddy

I think this is the 1st time jared attempted a compo all by himself. Most of time he brought back the work, and do it under our guidance..and naturally become our work..heh
Its very well written for our standard...things hv changed, std gone so high. I remembered i was teaching Kaylen to read Danger one day, and told them that..gosh i learnt this word at P3, while kaylen learnt it at 4yr. Then Jared continued to ask me, how about precariously? I said 35...only when you learnt, I knew it..hah

Kaylen's abacus update

Jared spent most time bargaining how many question to do, so everytime cannot finish his weekly work. Kaylen is always ok to do, and before you notice she had completed the page..

I really really haven't been updating interesting conversation with the kids...what a pity

These are the recent ones...

Me: Jared, why you a bit a bit want to cry?
Jared: Why you a bit a bit want to scold?

Grandma: You want to eat this?
Kaylen: night a little bit..  (=> later)
We are burst into big laughter..gosh she still have the habit to translate from chinese...really don't know how to help her..hah

Lego building

Other than iphone games, this must be Jared's fav hobby. We bought a big bucket of lego for him, but it was kept for a long time, till daddy started to build something for them, then later complicated aeroplanes like these.. till now he could handle any design of aeroplanes he like and spending hours on it This is build by Jared all by himself..although a lot of times, being nag by me... I shall try to take more pics of his work..

The greatest fall

I had my greatest fall after soo long hah.

On last Sat 14-July, as usual we are at United sq. But I forgot about kaylen’s water bottle for her ballet class..from previous experience..She will get really angry when this happened.

So I proposed to go buy from Cold storage…hv a good time visiting the newly renovated cold storage..then finally came back with her fav white chrysanthemum drink.
When halfway, I saw parents coming down..so I go excited and started running up the escalater..thats where I trip and fall..The pain was still bearable but the moment I sit down..the next I saw was blood ooging out..and every where on floor are blood..

So lucky we managed to stop the blood..else really dunno what to do. Then daddy went to buy plaster, gauss, antiseptic etc..and started to clean my wound.

After a while, we received call from Jared saying he’s out from class. Luckily he wasn’t frighten..instead of asking how I were..he started asking me for food as he was already hungry..Then when I told him my story..he asked, wheres the drink hah.

As for Kaylen, she didn’t know we sent to drink in..and when she came out she was angry..So daddy brought her back to find her drink.

This is truly fall for nothing.

In the pm, I was still bz working on my brownie. Heh.

At night we went to check at comp. appt clinic..Doc said better go to TTSH A&E..thinking abt the queue, I gave up. So we go hm changed the dressing..and the next AM, I’m good for lower leg IPL and ikea trip heh.

Nowadays we can hardly go shopping...Jared especially will be the 1st one to complain tired and need to go home...But place..they still like a lot..That's Ikea...brought the grands along and had a good trip. Kids enjoyed the food, though Jared was the 1st one asking to go home again!..But at least we can walk for few hours there.

At 3yr 10mth, 2 more months before she turns 4yr, she has finally completed p&j 3a and 3b

We are stucked at 3a from beginning of the year I think..and after completion of 3A, we completes 3b in 1 day..

Jared learnt this way for his reading..I think Kaylen will also be benefitted with the P&J series..
