Hokkaido 2017: Day 10 (16-Dec-2017)

Today after a sumptous breakfast at Nininupuri, we made a co decision to go
Furano..I was a little reserved cos the snow was pretty consistently snowing on the heavier side..while the rest felt that we could had nothing else to do at Tomamu.

So we took many many pics & video at Nininupuri before we bid goodbye to Tomamu

The road condition throughout the drive...it was about 60km away..but the snow never stopped
Luckily the daddies were accustomed to the driving condition..so they felt okay throughout.

Arrived at Furano Cheese Factory about 11am..got some cheese tasting & ice cream & milk

Then we continued 10mins drive to Ningle Terrace..the bonus place that I really wanted to go, cos of the nice pics on internet..and the snow still continued to fall ...it never stop throughout our time in Furano..

After Ningle Terrace, we made our way to Furano Town & trying to find a place for lunch..as the snow was pretty heavy, the town was extremely quiet...we ended having lunch at a Family restaurant at 2nd level of a supermarket. Then we quickly got the supermarket bentos for dinner & the next day breakfast cos our lodging is out of nowhere..at a ulu place.

I didnt realise how ulu until we were doing the drive..we had to drive 15-20mins along the frozen Kanayama lake ..no others..only us..till we finally reach Log Larch Hotel.  I got a 2 log apartment for SGD600+ only..it was so worth..and so so nice..Best place to stay in whole Hokkaido.

Hokkaido 2017: Day 9 (15-Dec-2017)

For Hoshino Tomamu, because the area is too big, we had to take bus everywhere. including for breakfast at Nininupuri.

This place has the best view for breakfast..again, for this Hoshino Tomamu is worth the price. The buffet provided is tip top..with raw seafood to make seafood don.

The snow was rather heavy..and the whole place is whitish

PM was used for Mina Mina Beach pool..and it was way too hot to be fully dress in there..so I had to go for onsen dip...it was a small pool..but the view was fantastic it's open air & continuous snow falling....that I dip for very long time

Jared and the grands went back hotel first..cos they dont want to swim in pool or onsen..Im worried they will get heat stroke at Mina Mina..

This time round we knew it..we had dinner at 4pm

Soup curry garaku again..price was double of those at Sapporo City

We had extra 2k of meal coupon..so had supper at cafe at lobby. To my surprise, there were free drinks and ice cream in the cafe!



 Had made appointment for Santa Claus to visit at 1500 Yen per room.

Hokkaido 2017: Day 8 (14-Dec-2017)

The breakfast at Chitose Station hotel is quite ok..it had been very long since I see white bread for breakfast..so I had some..heh

Very good weather again..it's always good weather at Chitose..this must be the area with least snowfall

1st sight of Tomamu..along the 1.5hour drive there wasn't much things along the road..we arrived like at 11am..so we were swamp with tourist checking out & in..and made me headache instantly

 We bought this sled to share among the 3 kids..but later on pick up 3 more sled ..

Forest of Tree Terrace..I think because of this place, Hoshino Tomamu is worth the price

they always have this sign on all tv in the resort, to indicate which restaurant is full..I didn't thought much about it..till later actual dinner time, you will realise most affordable, edible family restaurant are full.  That night, we had chips and instant noodle for dinner
