Melbourne 2015 Day 4 30 Nov (Mon)

We had a stressful night before this, cos we were supposed to collect car for the trip to Belgrave and Dangdenong..However due to carpark problem, we had to cancel the car.  In Mel, car park is at exhorbitant rates, 1hr at shopping in the city can cost like $20.  So if you don't have a carpark pre book..its almost like need to pay $50 for an overnight parking, which is more ex than the car rental itself.  And to make things worst, we realised the Puffing billy tic at 10.30am is OOS...to avoid dissapointment, we booked it last min for the 11.10am train..and no printer to print out the tickets..

Luckily everything went well, going to Belgrave is quite straight forward from Southern Cross.  It was the hottest day in Mel at 30C.

When we got back, were supposed to go out for dinner...Then we observed super strong wind and heavy rain..there's goes our dinner plan..So daddy and hung tabau Coles chicken, garlic bread, pizza and some Japanese take away for dinner in the apartment.

Melbourne 2015 Day 3 29 Nov (Sun)

A family pic before we set off the day..

After some tram, train and bus..we finally arrived at Collingwood Children's farm..This is quite bad..few animal in a big place..then we found some goat to feed, and it made the day for the kids

After lunch we went to Abbortsford just beside the farm for a short walk..nice area.

Finally dinner at Chinatown, a China restaurant..Had a long day..

Melbourne 2015 Day 2 28 Nov (Sat)

City again..Had breakfast at the apartment, and took a tram to Myers.  Spent maybe 45mins to queue for the Myers Window display..aparently this is what the locals enjoyed most.

We continued the journey to Brighton Beach while the grands go home












Our 1st experience with the summer flies all over us here, it was sunny, and wind blowing so cold..so its really hard to take nice pics..Kids got irriatted with the flies and they can't open their eyes properly ..plus hunger as well. When we were done with the photo, to our surprise we had to walk 25mins to the nearest train station at 6pm+. Which was over their meal times..horrid...With the help of google map, we walked through the rich houses to get to Middle Brighton train station finally.

Melbourne 2015 Day 1 27 Nov (Fri)

In SG airport at 5am for our flight at 7.40am










Arrival at Melbourne, took the skybus to Southern Cross $41 for family tic


The grands came to the station to pick us...very glad that its cooling..
