NZ2016: Day 2 Lake Tekapo 26 Nov 2016

Our car for next 14 days!

And start of 3.5hour journey to Lake Tekapo! my favourite place in NZ!

Rest stop at Fairlie Bakery

First view of Lake Tekapo...a little dissapointed, sky wasn't blue, water not blue, and super crowded..and finally it even rained! Super cold with strong wind..probaly at about 10C only

It's still a beautiful place..18yrs ago these Lupines were not there..now it made the lake even more beautiful

It started raining so we had to go check in first to The Barn

Late lunch at 3pm...

After some rest, we drove to the nearby Mt John observatory..it started raining again..but daddy insisted on going up the hill since we were already half way..

The rainbow welcomed us! Such a beautiful view..so magical!

After we got down from Mt John, I saw we had a bit more of sun at Lake tekapo..so we stopped by again! It was still really cold with strong wind!

NZ2016 Day 1: Sydney 25 Nov 2016

A sleepless night in the flight...I hated overnight flight cos it's hard to force yourself to sleep..I doubt I did catch even half an hour nap...but if its day flight..I could take several nap..so when we arrived in Sydney at 6.30am Sydney time/SG time 3.30am...it was the start of 24hr sleepless trip

It has been 14 yrs since I last stepped into Sydney!

When tired, Jared & me just sleep on the bench..

After a full day of torture, we finally arrived at Christchurch at 11pm NZ time...and we were greeted by super strong wind...while waiting for motel shuttle to arrive.
