Melbourne 2015 Day 3 29 Nov (Sun)

After some tram, train and bus..we finally arrived at Collingwood Children's farm..This is quite bad..few animal in a big place..then we found some goat to feed, and it made the day for the kids

After lunch we went to Abbortsford just beside the farm for a short walk..nice area.

Melbourne 2015 Day 2 28 Nov (Sat)

City again..Had breakfast at the apartment, and took a tram to Myers.  Spent maybe 45mins to queue for the Myers Window display..aparently this is what the locals enjoyed most.

We continued the journey to Brighton Beach while the grands go home












Our 1st experience with the summer flies all over us here, it was sunny, and wind blowing so cold..so its really hard to take nice pics..Kids got irriatted with the flies and they can't open their eyes properly ..plus hunger as well. When we were done with the photo, to our surprise we had to walk 25mins to the nearest train station at 6pm+. Which was over their meal times..horrid...With the help of google map, we walked through the rich houses to get to Middle Brighton train station finally.

Year End Holiday-Melbourne 27-Nov to 7-Dec 2015

It was a much anticipated trip.  We did not travel for the whole year...and indeed it was really a good trip!

I had planned a 11D, 10N stay, the longest ever we been on a holiday since we had to have time for relative visits..so overall, I still get some shopping time despite the site seeing.  It was also the 1st time we used Airbnb..this made travel more comfy and cheaper.

Also celebrated my 38th birthday there..with loads of food..

Throughout the trip the selfie stick and the Samsung Note5 are our favourite tool..they made family pic taking much easier!

The beach opposite our apartment at Seafarers...This is the 1st time Jared ever let the wave sweep through his leg..also the 1st time he removed his shoe at the beach..and the weather was so cold, so it was a fantastic time..

It was a much delayed trip to visit Hung in Mel, my last trip to Mel was after uni before started working which was 14yrs ago...During these time, we had been to Perth twice and just couldn't come to Mel to visit Hung cos of the very ex tics.  Finally we made it this year!


Brighton beach!..With the ever so much summer flies..the kids hate this place!  But I just like the pics taken here..


My favourite food in the world! It cost $14 for this dozen of oyster..and its Tasmanian fresh oyster..gosh...It's the 2nd time I had it at Queen Vic market..the 1st time half a dozen was never enough!

For Jared I guess it's pretty big deal, their cohort consist of 42 pl, being in top 25%...will be like top 10? Wow..

2015 CHS Prize Giving-CCA Performance

As expected, Jared didn't manage to clinge any prize..and school was also very mean to geppers..Only highest subj  mark prize..while the mainstream have level prize, and class prize, and subj prize

So we sneaked in for Jared's performance

2015 PCPS Prize Giving for Kaylen (P1)

Kaylen has been with us at least 2x for prize giving..Now it's finally her turn to get her own prize.

And this invitation...really made me waited for so long..It usually comes in 1 wk earlier, and for this it only came in 2 days earlier..Made me re-think and re-think how is it possible that she could have miss the prize!

She got all her papers for the whole of her P1 100%..that is a total of 9 papers officially tested this year.  But she lost quite a bit of marks for Math during AA2, and AA3. (7/10, and 8/10) ..made me so heartpain..
