Melaka Short trip 5-6 Sept P1

After I booked the farm stay, then I knew that company would be on forced leave during the Sep school hol...That's why I decided to book another trip to Melaka...and thats how we ended so many trips in such short time..The kids were in cloud 9 of cos..hah...But we adults get stressed...Jared got a lot of homework from school, TLL ...its almost impossible to finish everything...

We left the house around 6:45am, reach JB around 7:30am...and from JB to Melaka is about 2hr only..its really a fast drive ...and the road was so straight. But upon arrived in Melaka, our fickle mind to visit Butterfly park/Mini malaysia/Zoo ended us back on the highway again..that delayed another 30mins...and Jared got so grouchy that he started crying and asked for check in hotel..and refused going anywhere..

When we approaching town, suddenly I saw this A famosa chicken rice..so we just stopped for it..and Ended its the worst chicken rice ball shop..hah. After that, we visited my Ah yi house, and dropped grandma with her..and followed with check in hotel. Hotel checked in was really smooth, not many crowd, no queue...and got upgraded to deluxe room!

We were so happy with the hotel rooms...Must be the cheapest good quality hotel I've got for the 1st time..Booked from hotel website at RM252, and add 1 bed for RM60...and when checked out were informed that promotion extended, so the hotel room is now at RM180 per night...that's less than SGD80 per night...with very good quality buffet breakfast...

Something about Jared

He managed to get fullmark for his 1st show and tell in school..and he like to perform it to everyone who asked him.

He told us Mr Kok said he is the Model Student of the Year...

gosh..we cannot believe it.hehe...But I'm not sure if teacher only say say ..or really mean it.

Then he also told us, his gf is Jingwen...but now no more.then I said, are you sure? you don't even have any friend...
And i also asked if jingwen prettier than kaylen. The answer was yes ha.

D'Kranji Farm Stay Part 4

Day 2

We had quite good sleep..was not disturbed by the ge tai as location of chalet is far from restaurant.

Woke up to see Jared already started playing scooter outside the hse..and seemed to have master how to play.

 Overall, kids loved loved the farm stay..and its a good change from the normal holidays..not too pack with activities, and lots of free times..But tiring for us adult..lucky mum followed..

After I woke up, Jared go and wake Kaylen up to play together

Thats how the car fits nicely in the hut...the parking porch is bigger than the room!

Very small room..so small that have no place to sit or walk around. Kids keep asking where's the living room!

We got the deal from groupon at $108, so rented 3 rooms..just nice the school holiday just started and also celebrating Kaylen's birthday..Then my comp. announced there's a force leave period..so after this we are going to Melaka for Kaylen's actual bday..so many trips in such short time.


After we got the deal, I started to research on internet abt the room..Gosh, all are bad comments..extremely small room, full of insects, noisy in the night due to ge tai...

So we came with no expectation..just hoping the time pass faster..


And in the end, we got a pleasant stay...


Made the best decision not to diy bbq..as rental of bbq pits are already $40++...We joined the farm tour, ...kids get to see some plants...and its short enough not to tire them...And finally Ah yi gave Kaylen a scooter as birthday pressie...So kids had so much fun playing with it along the road outside the chalet.

Growing prettier
Just as I recalled she got very nice birthday pics for her 3rd birthday, lovely smile..This year she got even nicer birthday pics..with the baby fat lesser. heh

English Reading
We have progress to P&J 5A...this is really advance for her age..However, she is not smart by nature unlike Jared..so she could not concoct words and read new words on her own..I remembered when Jared was at stage 5 of P&J..very soon he could start reading any books..But for Kaylen, this will take longer..she learnt things the harder way..But thankfully she is much hardworking.

Bubbly nature
Laugh, and cheerful...and rainbow colours in all her colouring..

Observant into details
When koko came back with hair cut, the moment she see koko..She said "koko your haircut very nice, you look so handsome now"

When daddy was wearing his new spec, I knew it that AM as he told me so...but when she saw..She also commented daddy was wearing a new spec.

Jared is definitely not like this..he is super bochup and blur..if we were to MIA, he will only realised it few hours later..

Prayer
Occasionally she will ask me to pray along with her..So on her bday night I asked her to pray along with me..to thank God for her, ask for God's blessing for her..and kwai kwai, good health..and have good performance for her concert.

On her bday in school, Huang laoshi told me that she had volunteered for the MC for the chinese version..I'm happy, but on the other hand, got really worried..Cos there are some kids who got up..and frighten by the huge crowd..and cannot say anything.  Sometimes when we asked her to go on stage to perform, she was also scared...That's why I would rather her don't go up and go up yet cannot say anything..

But I really would wanna watch her doing the MC on stage...

With koko practising show and tell, she did learnt quite a bit, and trained her to talk louder and with more confidence...That's the advantage of being no. 2 I guess..learnt everything without too much emphasize.



Relationship with koko They can be fighting over the smallest thing..and get very well, and play altogether all time..
I'm at the stage that I absolutely cannot buy same item 2 different colour ..I need to get the exact same thing x2...as they will fight over it..unless 1 of them is really girly like..then probaly Jared won't fight for it.



For her..we've really never pressurise her on anything..All our focus has always been on Jared..So she learnt as we teach him...I'm so glad she has develop so well..

Finally...I'm in huge dilemma...whether violin or piano for her...I certainly have no patience to learn piano..and its a huge commitment of space at home...and $$$...for violin, with the advantage from Jared..I guess life will be easier for us..Still thinking...
