Taiwan Trip Day 5 Xindian and Wulai

To go to Wulai, take a bus from Xindian.

Saw fr the map that Xindian has a Bitan Scenic area, so we also visited it.

We took a boat ride, need to paddle like crazy..and quite ex too NT400 for 1 hour.

Taiwan Trip Day 4- Part 2

Today evening, we went Miramar Ferris wheel after Shilin Market.

This is so gigantic and beautiful. It just attracts one's eyes when get there.

Price to go up: NT150. So cheap rite?

Taiwan Trip - Day 4

Today is we went Jiufen in the morning, while evening went back to Shilin to check out the other market, and finally Miramar Ferris wheel.

Taipei train station to take train to Ruifang, then change bus to Jiu Fen

My favourite Lai ah po yam balls dessert..Oh..it's so good!

This is also good!...peanut with they polish(?) from the big block..then add ice cream then wrap with popiah skin...Very very nice.

While waiting for bus..cheeky Jared..we managed to take a bus direct to ZhongXiaoFuXing MRT.

Taiwan Trip Day 3

We had breakfast at the infamous Er2 Rou4 Pien4..

The Er Rou4..Quite ex 1/4 part cost NT300...Ex comparing to all the meals before this. Taste like la4 er rou4 we have here, except that its less hard and salty. Quite tasty, worth a trip there.

Its probaly Jared's fullest meal in Taiwan...He ate so much noodle...

After breakfast we went Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall...Hmm pretty boring...

But from the noon onwards, this place wasn't boring anymore..The green and red team having so much argument about removing the plate...Ta4 Zhong1 zhi4 zheng4...My mum even got interviewed cos of this..but we all didn't know anything lah...so doubt it will be screened...hehe

There after, the place was closed down for 3 days, and everyday hot news in TV...

Oops..today is also my Bday...30th Birthday..so hard to celebrate overseas, so hard to get a cake!

We also went to Taipei 101..and the highest viewing mall...

Taiwan Trip - Day 2 Part 2

We proceeded to Shilin..i think around 8pm+..see how steady we were heh!

After that, we went back to hotel only to realised that we only visited Part 1 of Shil Lin Nite market..There were bigger area at further down.

Taiwan Trip - Day 2

The plan for the day is Yang Ming Shan -> Bei Tou -> Danshui..A busy day for everyone of us!

We had a hard time trying to put on this Jacket for Jared..he hate it..in fact the previous nite before we went out..the Neijiang staff asked us to layer him, he shout..." I don't want"...Very very loud..for the first time I heard him auto speak english hehee..

At YMS, while waiting for the intenal shutter bus no. 108, very windy and rain a bit..Jared so scared of the wind and will stick to us like glue..hehe

Super windy...almost can blown us away..heh

Half way get down from bus 108...bad move!..I saw other ppl get down, so we did ...Nothing to see even after walk for so long, need to return back to same stop ...We probaly walk for 1hr..under big wind...and some rain...So now everyone hates YMS..hehe..

At Xinbeitou, on the way to Di4 Yu4 Gu3, Hell valley hot spring...

After hell valley, we just chose a hot spring hotel nearby..Cannot tahan walk anymore.

The 1 we went is Spa Spring Resort, I chose sharing pool instead of room..Cos so many of us difficult to squeez in 1 bath tub...and outdoor can see more things.

This is the indoor hot spring pool...at 2nd floor...the whole place was ours for the 1st half hour before others join in. So quite shiock lah. But the water was really hot...so hard to stay for long.

My parents at outdoor pool at 7th floor. I find it more fun at outdoor...can see greens..and the air is better..My dad got fainting spell when dip in indoor pool.

On the MRT again towards Danshuei Station.

Danshuei-We reached quite late, and weather was cloudy whole day. So cannot see sunset.

Danshui Lao Jie (Old street)

Tall Ice cream, many stall in Danshui sell these tall Icecream...I got the half height one..Taste very nice...not creamy, not fattening, not sweet...

We took a ferry to Fisherman Wharf..Jared was so tired, hungry and cold..He has no breakfast, lunch or dinner..almost took milk whole day. Cos when we ate hotel's sandwich for breakfast..He dun eat bread, for lunch...we dine at Beitou small shop...He only wake up much later....and for dinner we ate at Shilin...nothing much suits him..poor boy!

Ferry back from Pali to Danshui

We also took the ferry to Pali...its a waste of time & money..Nothing there..we got down at a place whice is so dark and cold..

My poor boy so cold and having runny nose..hehe
