CHS Learn to Fish
Sewing Button, Making hot drinks, and Make pancake
I volunteered for the event without telling Jared about it, and I surprised him in school..
I totally enjoyed the bonding time...really must make more time for the event, especially the dad's for life event..

Parent Teacher Meet: 2015
Kaylen: P1
Basically both English and Chinese teacher all full of praise, so praiseful that we as parent had nothing much to ask really. She is excellent in her work, helpful in class, good leader, participate well in class discussion.
For chinese teacher, Lin laoshi said that she particularly like Chinese lesson, raise hand so often that she can't always call her, and ended she will be deflated a bit not called by teacher. She is even the xiao laoshi to weaker student Brandon and Anji.
Finally for P1 SA1, Kaylen has outperformed Jared by 5 marks...its amazing! She got all her papers full marks except English Oral.

Now this is the stressful part. Before going to PTM, we only knew all the papers result. He did his best to out performed his goal of 75% of the papers except English which was at 62%. In fact, he did extremely well in math @96%, and science 89%. But these papers formed only 30-60% of the SA1 result. So it kinda be scary, not knowing how he performed for the rest of portfolio, projects, and daily works.
Basicaly all teachers are ok with him, even English teacher mentioned that he has good foundation, he should improve when he get used to the style there.
For math feedback, it was kinda terrible. The subject that he got 96% on paper and final result also 96%. Mr Tan think that he doesn't understand and dare not ask him. A lot of "see me" on his worksheet, he didn't go to him. Worksheet was all wrongs..and mock test was like 65% only. Despite him being the most responsible math rep, Mr Tan didn't understand what went wrong with his math, and he got worried of him. The thing is over here, Math teacher don't tell the full solution, he will only give hint and ask him to find out the solution. He even listed out the topics that he wasn't good ..basically its all of them! Gosh..
In fact, the teacher think I've prepared him well for the math exam. Basically, I had to ask him to do the worksheet & mock papers those that he got wrong, later on, I realised he actually will get wrong too for those question that he got it correctly the 1st time...I also found a facebook page that a lot of ppl sending question on math for PSLE. I will get him to do the similar question to his P4 GEP math.

Daddy's 40th Birthday
Lunch @ Modestos
I've heard that modestos serves really good lamb chop but it took us so long to get there to try it out..its daddy's favourite food...
Yeah, its good..it came with the stinky smell of the lamb..yet very tender..
Kaylen made daddy and nice card..while Jared created a scratch game that when daddy won the game...the records of him singing birthday song is played. Very nice touch!
