Bird Park Visit

Saw my col managed to succesfully ballot Bird park tics..So of we went. The last visit was probaly when Jared was 9mth old, tics was from the same col too...hehe..helpes us saved $18x2visitx2ppl=$72.

I got a fright at Lory Loft, KP asked me to buy the food for bird feeding..just when I got the food..so many birds attacked me...standing on my shoulder, head, hands...in the end, I spilled the food loh. So pai seh.

After which KP carry Jared on 1 hand and another hand bird food ...his hand almost cramp..hehe

Jared doesn't look happy? He was sick since last week down with runny nose..and proceed to caughing...He didn't have a good sleep the night before..wake up at 4am to ask for milk, but puke everything out after finish...and 5am again for milk...No, I'm not so tired..it was always daddy waking up to attend to him..... So the before going to Bird Park we brought him to Chong Pang Market for chwee kueh, his fav since his appetite has not been well lately...True enuff, he had quite a few of them..and occasionaly say hmmmm...

Actually nothing much to update ...Jared is as usual chatty...talk non stop the whole day...

After a while of getting the same ans with the question asked...one fine day

Moral of story: Parents need to work harder to improve general knowledge for kids with high curiosity hehe.

My review: Both books are pretty easy..perhaps to easy for Jared...the first night, he could say "Brown Brown Bear What do you see? I see a red bird looking at me"
But the repeated senstence make the book interesting.. He almost know the whole book now.

Jared's review:

JG Update
Jared is considered one of the most kwai & cooperative kid in class since the start of his term 2.
Willing to return toys when asked...make me really happy and touch
Can sit through arts&craft session, paying his fullest attention to what teacher doing
And started to talk to Chinese teacher..and nowadays when Zhang Lao shi saw him sure got to tease him, knowing that he like to ask question...
"Zhe ke shi she mo?"
We thought perhaps he is older by now, also more used to JG environment..that's why the well behaviour.
But unfortunately during the parent chat session, Senior Teacher Lin broke a bad news to us..That's Teacher Meera gonna move on to Edudrama..and current class teacher stilll unknown.
I like JG and willing to continue is mainly caused of Teacher Meera's energetic & fun way of coaching. Now I regret so much continueing next term class especially if daddy not around to send /pick us up...worry worry..
Now considering if I should forgo the $50 deposit, and just quit next term...Haiz...

Home activity Update
Since this week, I've decided to add a bake&cook session with Jared at home. We bought some cute cookie mold...so this week we got Jared to make butter cookie...He made so much funny sound like ...arrr..hmmm...during the process...So funny.
After the cookie were baked, he tried quite a few which is something he never does.

Surprise Liking
We went to swimming on Sat evening, after that we tah pau from Chong Pang Nasi Lemak stall....while waiting to reach my turn, Jared saw the wide choice of dishes...and keep asking for Taiwan Sausages. When we get on the car, Jared havent forgot his Taiwan sausages keep asking...and when we got home..I got so surprised that he could finish the whole sausage on his own...Keep asking for it...

NTUC Trip
Everytime when we go to NTUC Jared is sure to request to see crab. As usual I brought him to the crab session and proceed on to see the fish, mussels and hum display on the icy rack
I got surprised when he could identified "flower crab". Daddy said he taught him.
Then when we see hum...Jared say, "Na4 ge4 shi4 hum, Mummy si3 huan1 chi4" (That's hum, mummy like to eat")

Me so happy and touched..hehe..But that day's outing was a bad one, Jared refused to walk or sit on stroller..while I couldn't tahan carry him + pushing stroller..so he cried bad time...all the way till home...not until I offer him apple+cranberry Juice...Jia lat.
Now I so scared to bring him walk walk liao..

So sueh at East Coast?

It has been a while we went for cycling at East Coast. So decided that we would go cycling this weekend and have buffet breakfast at Beach Hut since they usually don't open on Sat except public hols.
Breakfast at Beach Hut has deteorated a lot...probaly would be our last visit..
And this is probaly our most sueh visit to East coast. It rained so heavily for twice we were stucked..

My bake rice not nice?

I baked this bake rice...looks so yummy right?
Unfortunately Jared appetite not so good...so in both attempt I almost finish the bake rice myself.


Recipe:
1) Cook stock with corn, potato, carrot (any combination)
2) Use the stock to steam rice with brocolli, baby corn, chopped carrot and 1 piece of laughing cow cheese (Err I'm too lazy to prepare the cream of cheese+milk leh)
3 When the rice are cooked, add cheese on top (I used shredded parmasan cheese) and bake in microwave for 20min at 200C

Jared like to wear adult shoes walk around.
Everytime if we were to ask him get ready to go kai kai, wear shoes pls…he will wear daddy’s crocs. Hehe.
He found so much fun wearing ah yi’s high heel shoe cos of the tap tap sound.

Baby talk? Or reciting poem?

This is the way Jared say his san zi jing. See how happy when we clap hands to encourage him. But he didn’t say the words clearly..I almost don’t understand at all leh…

So Many People

A busy weekend starts from Thursday evening. Because, Jared's grandma & all her sisters visited us!

A total of 7 of them, 5 sister (except 2nd yi who didn't join the China trip), and Jared's gong gong, and teoh gong were here. Very crowded..

Jared has been really friendly, and all the yi pos were impressed with how well he could talk now. Occasionally Jared would knock knock(he says knock, knock) at their bedrooms door, and say "Hallo" to them before going in to ask more question..hehe..He also loved being praised, everytime when he answered something..sure request everybody to clap hands. Jared said "so many ppl sit table" when we all gathered to eat breakfast at the dinning table.He sleep only at 11.30pm-12am onwards everynight, as he gets to play with so many ppl.

On Sat evening, we went to attend Michael's birthday party after meet up with them at Vivo City..Quite fun for Jared, as there were enourmous toys at Grace's house loh...Jared get to play different type of toys..I like to visit their place caused so many kids there, and the food Grace prepared is always so simple yet tasty...
